Bad comparison if you ask me. It has been 7 years since TLG was announced and we have seen like 2 trailers? With TPP we have gotten like 4 or 5 demonstrations ( this includes the short little demonstration), plus we got a gameplay trailer and a story trailer. Not to mention that we have gotten tons of info on it and we are getting debut footage of MGO 3 friday. And at least we have some idea of the release date for it

So, you feel betrayed or rather, you have low expectations? Also, do you still consider the tranq gun to be overpowered when it has a limited supressor?

@Lulu_Lulu: Well in response to the criticism of the cutscene, Kojima decided to cut back on them in this game, and take an episodic approach to the narrative, if my memory is correct.

He was disappointed in MGS4, admitted that he killed off certain characters to early and praised GTA V, while also humbling saying that he was not sure that MGS V could even compare to it

Eh. In my opinion, the gameplay videos for The Phantom Pain speak for themselves, but that is for you to judge. Also, there are still people who want the franchise to continue. I was on the gamefaqs and people want a game with The Boss. Another thing to consider is the fact that Kojima was disappointed with how MGS 4 turned out
