I still play Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 + Expansion at least once a week. Can't get enough of them.

Also dust off NFS: Underground 2 as well every now and then.

I dont understand? Have you guys even played Diablo.

From what I gathered the problem wasnt so much the colours or the art, but the fact that there was no lighting radius which has always been a part of diablo. Maybe its still there, but in the clip inside the dungeon you could see all the monsters on the screen. Its like playing doom 3 minus the darkness.

In conclusion, I think your post is completely devoid of humour. It sounds like you just want to be a blogstar or something.

Char1es

Yeah, exactly like Doom 3. Except a completely different genre, story, characters, style of play and art direction. But yeah, exactly the same, definitely man.

I didn't read your post, but I'm going to assume it's been banned because Fallout 3 is going to be ****ing awful, in which case I shall fly the Australian flag in my garden the day Fallout 3 is released.

The brave, brave men and women of Australia are true pioneers.

fatshodan

Way to add constructive conversation to the thread.

Why did you even bother?

I'd go with Medieval 2 as well.

If you liked Rome, you'll love Medieval. Same awesome gameplay and strategy, with graphics that are 100x better.

Medieval-esqe games have always appealed to me personally as they don't always play the same way. First game you may own everything and have no problems, next game you may get bogged down with multiple fronts and unwinnable battles.

And who doesn't love watching 2000+ units engaged in epic battles :P

I couldn't even get the game to run without Live crashes and BSODs... Hence my 1.0 scoring on GS ;)

I gave up after the 2nd patch still wouldn't allow me to run the game, and the "tech support" on the forums was a shade below useless.

The cover makes a nice paperweight though, I must admit.

Wow, some of you guys sure are on your high horse about this.

Who cares if someone's band doesn't fit your narrow definition of what constitutes a metal band? Everyone has their own feelings and descriptions. You can discuss these differences without trying to belittle people and fluffing yourself up in some display of bloated self importance.

You guys are nubs if you don't like the grenade spaming and shooting through walls. IMO there really isn't much grenade spamming. Grenades are really easy to avoid if the grenade indicator is turned on plus each person only has one per spawn so it's not like Call of Duty 2 where it was a boring fragfest. As for the shooting through walls, I think it's awesome and it does take almost a full clip to get a successful kill through a wall unless it's up close. One thing I really hate about the game though is the melee knife attack. Totally BS how it's an instant kill. Even if you get stabbed in the foot you die...like wtf? So stupid. It's worse than the overpowered melee in Halo.Matrix

Key words there would be in your OPINION.

Just because people don't agree with you doesn't mean they're "nubs".

It's a bit hard to avoid grenades when there's 100 flying at you from all directions. I agree with the knife comment though, way too OP.

I personally love CoD4 MP, about the only FPS i've played and kept coming back to. I'm usually more of a SP player, CoD4 is a lot of fun though and I would recommend picking it up even if only to play through the campaign.

[QUOTE="Darth_Kane"]

[QUOTE="Pessu"]Its an average rpg at bestPessu

says the FF guy, I would barely call any game from Square an RPG

Rofl. I think its appropriate to call the most popular and best selling rpg series as rpg games. But yes even FF has gone down hill with the few latest games.

Plus The Witcher is only 81% at gamerankings so I'd say its safe to call it average by that number. And yes I've finished The Witcher. It had boring clickfest combat, boring monsters, lame charecters, lame story which is quite shallow unless you actually read the books you find, non-main charecters had about 10 different models and the world was small and linear. But hey the game was all about having sex with everything that moves and fap'n to the pictures you get so yay for that!

81% is average? I must of missed that class in maths.
