You guys are basing both your positive and negative complaints on a BETA build. That means there is no real driver support yet, all the hardware manufacturers are still hammering those out. If they do work, it's because Vista and Windows 7 share the same kind of interface between the hardware and software.

As far as Linux goes, most of it is pretty okay. OpenSUSE is f***'in terrible though. I've never seen so many problems in an OS in my life. I had icons on the desktop, that according to the command line, didn't exist. When I tried to delete or hide them, they came back the next time I started X. And KDE just plain old sucks.

There weren't any vampires. None. And it was just a wet dream that the author decided to share with everyone. There was a contest for Edward Cullen look-alikes (and other characters) at some point and there's this picture floating around of Stephanie Meyer in a huge red dress standing next to two rather indifferent boys half her age. Plus, if you take out descriptive adjectives in relation to the characters' stunningly good looks, the books are half as long. I did not much like what I saw of the movie, but I've heard it kind of goes against the book in a few ways, so it gets points for that.

There has never been a silence like this before

There will never be an ode like this again

If you know those lyrics odds are you know why I picked them.

[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"][QUOTE="Tezcatlipoca666"]

Beer tastes great! Try German beer, North American beer is total crap.

Guinness is definetly worth a try too.

LJS9502_basic

you dont have any idea what youre talking about

German beer is good tho. Belgian ftw!

I don't see anything wrong with his statement.

If he's saying North American Beers are bad, he hasn't had Dogfish Head. Or any of the other numerous micro-brewed North American beers.

Im Belgian, we're born with a bottle of beer in our mouth :PDzjaansis

Grolsch is one of my favorites, just throwing that out there.

I do not drink beer to get drunk, unless it's Halloween, St. Patty's, or New Years. I usually drink beer after a stressful week at work. I will go buy a four/six-pack, take it up to my friend's place, split it with him and watch some movies. Never light beer, and never brewed by major American breweries (except for Blue Moon). It really is an acquired taste, though. Some are downright awful (the ones kids typically drink at parties), but there is actually quite a few delicious beers out there. I've had stout that tasted like good coffee, some Dog Fish Head IPAs that had a very layered taste, and Grolsch (I love Grolsch). I just think it's cool that there are so many different types and flavors, and it also has a pretty rich history. I have a friend who's a total nut about beer, he's actually taking a 3-week vacation in Europe to go visit a bunch of German villages and castles and drink their beer. He is even keeping a photo journal of the kinds he drinks.

That's deep.

Let me elaborate.

The TC made an altogether ridiculous assumption based on a handful of Final Fantasy nerds and made a huge stinkin' generalization. I hate sweeping generalizations, I hate pointless topics and I also hate Japanophiles. Instead of coming across as overly caustic, I chose to shrink my ideas down to those three words.

Roger Ebert has been pretty reliable for me. At least for some of the lesser known and older movies.
