I'm just glad to see that not everyone on these forums is a complete nerd. I've got to get sleep now, busy day tomorrow. I'll take a toke for all of you.musicXpirate
Going to work at 4 pm, unfortunately. From then until around 9ish, I'll be cleaning the store. Once I get out, on to my friends house. Loads of fun stuff happening there, like chess (well, we're not using the typical chess pieces).
And El_Pino, I'm wondering exactly what it is you have against us. If you had a bad experience, or likewise, your friend had a bad experience due to the plant, then I can understand your attitude. But if you're simply another kid who believed all the stuff they told you in DARE cl*** I'll ask you kindly to leave the discussion.
I've had wma's at 64 kbps sound the same as mp3's at 128 kbps, but for some reason it gets reversed at higher bitrates. mp3 is also a more widely accepted format.
I cant help but pity my county. YES it is a horrid terrible shame and tragedy and the people who where effected have the burden of utmost grief, but I cant help but feel ashamed of how the media and politicians deal with it. As I watch the news, they play sad piano music, with cross-hairs over VT and the reporters use dramatic words. and Bush talks about how the innocent victims where simply "in the wrong place at the wrong time" the hypocrisy is how oblivious people are to the horrid slaughter that occurs every day throughout the world, and then a small, incremental event such as this one (In comparison to the events that occur everyday abroad) gains all this coverage but a genocide in darfur gets a brief mention by the media if that. America is so sheltered from the violence of the rest of the world that when it actually happens the whole country is paralyzed. DO not get me wrong, it is one of the most horrid events I have heard about in weeks, and it is a terrible senseless event that had no purposeKrayzieJ
If you've been following accounts of his behavior, he was not ostracized. He rarely acknowledged someone's presence, and in the case of his english class, he didn't participate in the first day of class introductions, and often wrote a question mark on forms asking for his name. He did not express outward hate towards any type of bully in his lengthy suicide note(s) either. I won't pretend to know that guy, because when I went there, I was two years under him, and in a completely different degree program. But it is looking more and more like the guy had mental problems.
The funniest one I've seen recently was Ralphie Mae's Girth of a Nation. Favorite overall comedian is either George Carlin, Bill Hicks, or Mitch Hedberg.
I was a student there last year. I left due to financial and academic reasons. I just want to know who's hurt and/or dead. I hope it wasn't any of my friends.
Just to clarify, I would've e-mailed them or checked facebook, except that there was a wind storm in my area that knocked out our TV and Internet. So I got stuck not knowing how my friends are doing.
