@Ortego13 I was going to say Deathstroke came first and Deapdool is a parody but the others beat me to it.

@NTenseify Watch at 00:54. Headshot with plenty of blood. It's no Mortal Kombat, but more adult than I was thinking this game would be.

Also, this is on the verge of being pretty violent. You know Neatherealm is chomping at the bit to put some gore in there.

This was leaked last week on Miiverse and they said it was just a mock up. I guess this article confirms the leak(s)?

Random news article about the leaks: http://www.gamedot.co.uk/2012/11/19/yoshis-island-wii-u-uncovered-by-miiverse-hacker/

I just bought a pro controller tonight and I think it might be the best controller I have ever used. I love the feel and how lightweight it is. I also love that patented Nintendo 'plus sign' D-pad. The analog sticks are just right... It is perfect. *fap fap fap* sounds can be heard. :D

I might be of the minority, but I love how the controllers DO NOT charge through the console. My TV is huge and really far from where I sit. No more extension cable just to reach to the TV like I need for Xbox 360 and my arcade sticks. Now they just need to go to the outlet right next to me. And no more replacing batteries and no more weight from the batteries.

I am so happy with this aspect of the Wii U. Now just fix the servers, the UI/OS, and make some decent games and we are rockin'.

@ag_04 Did you watch the video? I think it gives a pretty good summarization of what has happened. There are so many reasons why the other companies haven't released new systems yet. To make something with current tech would be way too challenging and cost prohibitive for a number of reasons:

cost- For a top tier gaming PC you could pay $4000- $20,000 depending on how exotic you want to go. To think that it would be reasonable to make a console that is a significant enough 'jump' in tech for under a $1000 price point is absurd.

size and heat- the bigger the GPU the more cooling you need. The RROD on xbox 360 are proof of this. I have had 4 xbox 360s in 8 years, since the cooling is nowhere near what it needs to be. They just overheat and break. To provide adequate cooling for the newer GPUs, some kind of liquid cooling, as well as fans are almost always needed. This is both huge in size and very costly. And are very noisy.

This is why we haven't seen any decent GPUs in ultrbooks and slim PCs and also why computer manufacturers have discontinued smaller gaming laptops. They just get too hot and are too bulky. They heat up and break or even catch fire. To make a console that would be 'next gen' it would have to be HUGE with a lot of cooling and would end up being the size of a computer tower that is also a glorified space heater. My house is poorly insulated and my bedroom gets cold. If I need to warm it up a bit, all I do is turn the 360 on for an hour or so. The temperature jumps up at least ten degrees.

The tech isn't there yet- there just haven't been very many advancements in tech to justify putting out a 'next gen' console yet. There is going to be a significant improvement in HDTVs very soon, as well as, an improvement in GPUs and CPUs, driving the cost of the older more affordable tech down. We are talking almost 4 times the resolution of current definition TVs. And GPUs that are light years ahead of what is out there now. Just look at the newest Unreal Engine. It is going to take a console with some serious horsepower to be able to run that on max settings. UE4 is "extremely scalable" even able to run on mobile phones, but to get something that looks new and awesome, that can run at the highest fidelity, it is going to take a lot.

So what sense would it make to make something that is 'next gen' when it would be very expensive and is already doomed to be obsolete the day it comes out?

Nintendo is only giving the fans what they have been asking for- an HD experience that is better than the Wii. They never tried to make something that would out-do the competition. There would be no point.

If you read my comments, I have plenty of complaints about the WiiU, but this doesn't mean I don't think it is quality. I like it and I think it is overall a pretty good machine. Also, I really like the controller. There are so many great features about it, but there are also things that are very rough.

This is why I come on here and voice my opinion, so they (devs and Nintendo) can see what they need to work on. Most of the gripes about the WiiU can be fixed with updated servers and UI and OS tweaks. I can recall at least 5 major updates to the XBL experience and it gets better each time. There is nothing that says Nintendo can't do the same.

I am an Xbox 360 'fanboy' but I got a WiiU so I can play some of Nintendo's first party games. I am loving New Super Mario Bros. U. I haven't played a Mario game I like this much since Mario 64. This says a lot. The WiiU is just fine, but it needs smoothing of a lot of the rushed/ rough edges.

@alrepairs Friend me. Miiverse user: Bonecoaster I have stuff to do, but I will most certainly be on tonight. I want to go get a pro controller too. I haven't played a Tekken game in a LONG time. I just played all the way through without being KOed on medium with King, so I am thankful his combos strings haven't changed too much. :) I guess it was worth the 22+ hour wait.
