@ag_04 If they were to release a truly next gen console, it would be too cost prohibitive. It has been said that they are losing money on each Wii U already. A truly next gen Wii U would cast like (speculative $1500.) To be even on par with current PCs. Watch this video it gives good insight on what is really going on behind the scenes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvNynanItjo

@JamesHarden98 You are right, every console has it's limitations and shortcomings. I can remember modding my Gameboy color (the see-thru purple one) to add a a light to it, since the screen wasn't backlit. What a pain that was to not get finger prints on the reflective tape.

@Rickystickyman The battery in the controller is actually a smaller cheaper one than they initially intended. You can get an aftermarket battery if you so desire. The battery is exactly the same as a 3DS battery. Proof: http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=190115

OMG! EIGHT MORE MINUTES! This is proof that the Wii U OS is dreadfully slow. I am not trying to be a troll, because I really want to like this, but give me a break.

Okay so the download finally completed. I get to play the game now, right? Nope I have to wait another HOUR and FORTY TWO MINUTES for the the game to install!! I thought at first it was a minute and 42 seconds, but no, it is an HOUR FORTY TWO MINUTES. What a load of crap. :( Never buying a full retail game from the eShop again, or at least until this is fixed.

@doc-brown You can add really slow and unstable servers to the list of Wii U's woes. I have been trying to download Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the past 2 days now. It is a big game at 17 GBs and should understandably take a while to download, but this is besides the point, because the download continually disconnects from the server. This game is roughly twice the size of an Xbox 360 game, but when I purchase Games on Demand on XBL, they usually only take about an hour to download (7 Gbs.)

Because of this, it makes the "power down after download" feature not work and the Wii U just shuts off. I had to leave the Wii U on and turn the display off on the controller. I left it on all last night and set the system to power down after 12 hours, and still in is at 95 % completion. It tells me there are 2 hours to go. I started the download at about 12 noon yesterday!!

Nintendo must have AOL managing their servers. I want to really like the Wii U, but there are so many things that are craptacular. I just read an article about people bricking their Wii Us with the big firmware update and an article about the Wii U's CPU being "really slow." What a disappointment. I was going to try to preorder Aliens Colonial Marines for this today, but I think I will just get it for Xbox and play it safe.

This is definitely the best looking Unreal Engine game to date. I can't wait for this. I can't decide if I should get it for Wii U or 360 though. I hope they have more coverage soon.
