Well, I guess that's it.

I figured that as long as I played it as safe as possible, I might be able to stay out of mass trouble on LiveVideo. Then I started reading some of comments on one of the DP forum's LiveVideo threads, and now I'm close to freaked. ISP. (At least I'm pretty sure that's the term.) Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but isn't there a way they can track my darned computer? I'm not completely sure about how it works, but I know that something like that is possible. Wikipedia tracks computers' ISP numbers and whatnot. I'm gonna delete my LiveVideo account. I only have 7 videos, anyway. If I can figure out how to delete my YouTube account, that one's going too. I just don't want to be involved in this stuff anymore.

Pondering

Well, it's about YouTube and LiveVideo, and the issue we've all been having with Viacom requesting that YouTube delete all of their material, including episodes and fan-made videos. Thing is, I'm worried that the same thing will happen on LiveVideo. They also have rules against copyrighted material, and according to their rules, fan-made music videos aren't be acceptable either because they contain songs that were used without the permission of the artist. (And technically it goes against copyright laws anway, as much as I wish it weren't true. I think it should be allowed as long we give credit where it's due, but who am I to say what's legal and illegal.) I like making MVs, but if we all get caught by LiveVideo, we'll just be kicked off like we were on YouTube. There aren't a lot of sites where we can post this kind of stuff. Then there's the full episodes that some people upload... well, I don't quite know where I stand on that. There are new episodes that haven't been aired in America, of all places. It's cool that we're able to watch them online, but... well, it's illegal, and it isn't fair to the people who make the episodes. They don't want their work posted on the internet, especially without permission. Now that all of this is happening... It makes me realize how some of us are either on the line or crossing it, and this is the law we're dealing with. The episodes and videos on YouTube were deleted because of copyright infringement. It's illegal to upload full episodes. While I wish it wasn't true, it's also illegal to upload music videos. Some people download episodes to get the clips for their videos, and that's illegal as well. Of course, wishing that certain things aren't illegal isn't going to change anything. We're going against the law, and if Viacom finds out about LiveVideo like they did with YouTube, they can report us. It doesn't matter if they don't own Google - they can inform LiveVideo thay we're disobeying the rules of the site. *sigh* I myself have a few videos on LiveVideo, and I'm in a debate as to whether or not I should keep them there. I don't want to get involved with the whole illegal business. Maybe I'll find a more secluded place to put them, but I dunno. I don't plan on deleting them now, since I just got settled at LiveVideo. I also just want to think about it. ...Wow, that was much longer than I expected. I'm sorry if I bothered you with my rambling. Here's a cookie if you actually read it. *gives you a cookie*

*slaps YouTube*

Well, YouTube has ticked me off for the last time. They deleted a bunch of DP videos, including all of mine. 4 of those aren't on my computer anywhere. -__- I'm keeping my account there, but I won't be using it anymore. Like a lot people, I'm moving here. If you have an account there, let me know and I'll add you. Just tell me who you are from here so I don't get weirded out.

To any Spanish speakers... (no, it's not about DP)

I was browsing YouTube and I found a Bleach AMV with a Spanish song. I like the song, but when I looked it up on Google with the little bit of lyrics I picked up, I didn't find anything useful. Does anyone have a clue as to what song it is? Even if you don't know the song, if you could tell me what some of the lyrics are, I could try another Google search. (It usually works when I look up other songs, so hopefully I can find this with different lyrics.) Anyone want to help out? ^^;;

End of Exams

YES!! :D The midterms are over! I can be lazy all weekend because I don't have homework! Woo-hoo! I have to admit, it was really hard to stay offline until now. x_x I'm just weak when it comes to will power. :P But now I can get back online and I won't have to do intense studying again until finals, although I won't be thinking about that 'till it gets much closer. Time to enjoy the study-free weekend! ^_^ And just to be random, I made a new avatar - and it's animated! *is proud of herself* XD I wanted to use this, but I accidentally made it too big. :cry: This one wasn't small enough either, which ticked me off because it took longer to make. But I was having fun with animating icons, so I made a Xiaolin Showdown avatar, too. I can't use it here because it's not the right size, but I made that one bigger on purpose. ...And yeah. Hopefully everyone else's exams (if you're taking them now; I dunno how it's done in other areas) are going well, or went well.

Adios (only for a while)

Well, I'll be offline for about a week or two, starting very soon. It has nothing to do with the site, but rather my school load. It's... *dun dun dun* the midterms of doom! So, I'll be offline studying and whatnot until the evil has passed. See you guys when my exams are done! (I can't wait 'till those are over!)

Happy 2007!

Happy New Year, everyone! It's just a few minutes into 2007, and I'm hearing fireworks somewhere outside. It doesn't feel like the new year yet, but I'm sure it'll kick in eventually. Maybe it's because my winter break ends soon. (Nuuu!) Although I tried to freshen things up by changing my siggy and profile banner. The only thing left is to think of a New Year's resolution, which I only sort of did. Ah well. Anywho, I hope ya'll have an awesome new year. :D

Happy Holidays! ^_^

Eh, I needed to push down that Thanksgiving blog. It's already December! :D We're finally in the holiday season. I can't believe that 2006 is nearing its end. And... yeah. There isn't a whole lot to say right now. ^^;; Things are kinda uneventful here. Except for the fact that I bought the first season of "Sheep in the Big City" on iTunes the other day. *dances around in glee* I'm still so happy that I found it on there. I hadn't seen it in years! Thank you, iTunes! ^_^ *continues dancing*

Happy Thanksgiving! :)

I won't be on later cuz my family is coming over, so I'll make a blog now to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. :D The one holiday where we can stuff ourselves with food and get away with it, and of course, the time of year where we really think about what we're thankful for. I'm thankful for a lot of things, (my family, my friends, having an education, and other things that would make this blog a bit too long) but finding this site is definitely one of them. Thanks for making this site so much fun, guys. ^_^

My worst nightmare...

...is procrastination. I'm probably one of the worst procrastinators I know. Seriously. I had all weekend to do a family tree poster that's due on Tuesday, but now I'll be spending tomorrow afternoon on it. Not to mention that I should have studied a lot more for my science test. (I mean, I studied, but I know I could've spent more time on it... o_o) Man, I really suck with this stuff. Does anyone know a dance to perform for the god of procrastination or bad luck? It's a horrible habit that's been proving harder to break than I thought. ...Sorry if I either wasted your time or put you to sleep. I just needed to vent and let it all out. I've always found that better than moping around, because then I feel even more lousy.
