Random Blog

'Tis true. I'm a horrible procrastinator that feels like making a blog for absolutely no real reason. Ishn't dat weird? Aaaanywho, hope you all had an uber-cool Halloween. Mine was nothing special, unless you count some of the interesting costumes I saw at school. I didn't have a costume in time for trick-or-treating, so I just gave out candy and studied for a test I had the day after. (I still wonder what kind of person puts a test the day after Halloween. I guess they don't expect people my age to trick-or-treat.) So yeah... I should probably do my math homework so I won't have to do it tomorrow, but I'm terribly lazy. x_x Curse my lack of motivation. On a totally random topic, does anyone watch FullMetal Alchemist? I started watching it yesterday, and it's pretty cool. I know, it doesn't have any new episodes and I got a late start, but I don't mind. FMA only has 51 episodes, and from what I know Adult Swim airs them in order and the first episode is showing on... Thursday, I think. So as soon as I get my TV recorder to work I am definitely watching. ^_^ And that ends the totally random blog of pointless-ness. Now who wants some chocolate?

Manga!

Yeah, I'm a manga reader. I just started reading some last year, and I keep finding a new series here and there that I like. Right now I have the first two of Inuyasha and Alice 19th, and the first of DNAngel and Chobits. All 4 series are good, but I'm looking into some new series, too. I dunno why I can't stick with one or two series, but I figure it's just like watching different TV shows. Soooo, I was wondering if any of the manga readers here could give me some suggestions? I've been wanting to get Ouran High School Host Club, cuz I like the anime, but I'm also looking at Naruto, Zatch Bell, Death Note, and FullMetal Alchemist. I looked up each of them after I heard someone else say they liked them, and they look good. (If only each one was a little cheaper...) But what's everyone else's favorite manga series?

Geometry is officially the essence of evil.

Tell me I'm not the only person who loathes geometry. ...Okay, maybe not a passionate loathing that burns with the intensity of a thousand suns, but since I've bombed the first two quizzes (and wasn't the only one in the class to do so), I'd say that I've gotten off to a horrible start to the class. *grumbles* Damn math. I'm doing fine in all my other classes, but now I'll be studying like a maniac for a major test coming up. I mean, the test takes up TWO FRICKEN DAYS. It's worth 200-something points... My teacher is an absolute lunatic. ...Sorry. I just needed to get that off my chest, for various reasons... I haven't exactly been having the best day today. I need a good night's sleep, music, and some time to stare at a screen and I should hopefully be back to normal for a while. (Or at least at normal as I get. ^_~)

*sigh*

Has anyone ever had one of those moments where you did something, and later you regret it and feel comepletely stupid, even though it was an accident? Yep, you guessed it. I'm having one of those right now. I left one of my textbooks in my locker at school, and I need it. -__- I'm gonna stop by my school later, so right now I'm just praying that it's open. Ugh... I hate those moments. I get them way too often.

Good bye, summer...

Yep, it's that wonderful time again where I get to wake up at around 6am and work my ass off for a thing called education. Yay. [/sarcasm] Ugh... I can't belive the summer is over already. I only have one more day left of it! Right now I'm finishing the last of my summer reading assignment (which I am loathing; I'm just glad for SparkNotes), and then I have the rest of the day to enjoy being lazy. Then I start high school. o_o I'm not really worried or anything, I just don't have the will to want to go. Particularly since I got my schedule and found out that I have lunch at 10:20. Who eats lunch that early in the morning?! So I'll be having a glorious time starting tomorrow and I won't be coming here as much. Hope everyone has/had a good end to the summer and start to the year. Edit: (9/5/06) Well, it wasn't bad at all. Then again, half days are never bad. ^^ And because I forgot to mention before (even though everyone has heard it already), may Steve Irwin rest in peace.

Just a quick question...

Does anyone know where I could download some Xiaolin Showdown episodes? I was gonna try and make a video, but I don't really want to use screenshots. Someone suggested BitTorrent (or a site with a similar name, I forget), but it doesn't work on a Mac computer. -__- I could just slap my computer now.

So... thanks in advance if anyone knows a site for this. I'd post it on the XS forum, but I'm kind of afraid to get reported.
Edit: I found the right BitTorrent site, and I'm trying it right now.

Under The Radar

Yep, I'm not supposed to be online right now. My parents think I'm shutting it down and getting ready to read. They think I'm online too much when I should be doing some other stuff, so they're taking away my computer. (So I won't be on as much for a while. At least until they lift the computer ban.) They "lent it to me" for an hour or two today, but I sneak on whenever they're not around. And they "hid it" after I handed it over yesterday, but while they were out I easily found it in my dad's closet. (They didn't even tell me they hid it. I just noticed that it wasn't where they left it.) Some hiding place. They obviously don't know how attached to this computer I am. :P

Heading Off To Nowhere-Land

Okay, so I'm not going to the middle of nowhere. Just North and South Dakota, which is supposedly "in the middle of nowhere", or so I've been told. (Luckily, they were kidding. I just put that there as a joke.) Unfortunately, I'll be doing lots of hiking and walking where the temperatures are in the high ninties. And there will be an entire day of driving out there from the airport. Oh, goody. (sarcasm) However, the highlight of the trip will be when I see a friend I haven't seen in a year. :D I haven't kept in contact with her much, but at least I get to see her. (After that, the second upside is the Mall of America... ^^) So, I won't see ya'll for 12 days. (I won't be back 'till August. August! The summer is going by way too fast for me.) And with that, I bid you a fond farewell. :P

Yes! My first videos!

Woo-hoo! I have finally got YouTube to upload my iMovie vids! MAJOR thanks goes to Kitty for that. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Before I found out how to upload it the right way, it drove me absolutely insane. Song On The Radio (a Monty Python song that brought Pirate Radio to mind) Can't Help Falling in Love (requested by Lady-Moth, who needs thanks for all her patience) Yeah... that's it for now. I'm not too fond of the vids, to be honest, but whatever. They were my first, so I was new to the program. ^^;;

*yawns* Huh... wha?

I'm not awake at all today. I just got back from New Jersey an hour or so ago, where I was all week. Being near the beach and seeing the relatives that I don't see where I live completely made up for the lack of internet, and all the other things I use on a regular basis. :P And I'm seeing "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" tonight! In an hour and a half... it's so darn close. I can't wait to get out of the house and at the movies. *sigh* I feel really weird for some reason. I feel like I should be doing something, but I don't know what. I thought it was the fact that it's already July, but it's still the first week of it. It could be the lack of internet I've had, but I'm online now and I still feel weird. (Or maybe it's all the unread posts here, heh. With my required summer reading for school, I might have to get offline for a while. Curse the length of Gone With The Wind.) Wow... this was the most pointless blog I've ever written. o_O I guess I just seriously needed something to say, or do, or anything. *shrugs* And Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are so damn close. Yes! :D And Italy plays Germany for the World Cup finals soon... unless I missed it. I'm rooting for Italy there. I forget when America dropped out, and Portugal beat England earlier in the week. Italy is my third choice. ^^ Aside from the churches and museums and whatnot, it's an awesome country. The food, the culture, and everything. And the bazillion pidgeons in... I think St. Marks Square. And Venice, which is just awesome. The flooded city. 'Kay... no more rambling. This blog is now over. Over... Yeah. Have an awesome rest of the day, and for those of you in the US, happy belated Fourth of July! Edit: *slaps self* 'Twas Portugal that beat England, not Puerto Rico. My bad. ^^;; (Pink, that might've been why you didn't know Puerto Rico was playing. I dunno if they did... I didn't watch every game.)
