well a new PSU is in order. Im sure a nice 450wt PSU will be fine. Around $60-$80 for that. Antec has the sweet spot for that area for good PSUs too.9mmSpliff

Yeah, but I'm sure my old 3GHZ P4 HT will bottleneck it.

Come to think of it, are there really any processors on AGP motherboards that won't bottleneck it?

You can read about it in the Custom PC Union. Here is the link

That's a very sneaky attempt at advertising... >_>

Oh well. I'd get it for my aging AGP-based system, but my PSU is utterly terrible.

No, it's really not very good for modern gaming. The Pentium D, 1GB of RAM, and 7300 (with turbocache!) completely cripple the system.

Sorry. At least you asked us, and didn't take a leap of faith and buy that junker.

i believe these are AMD cards.

FireGL 3D Graphics Accelerators & New FireMV Multi-View 2D display acceleration cards.

ok which card is better, what are their uses best for and what is the difference between them?

what is the best for gaming?

can i get some help please?

thanks.

Jedi_Master_Bernard

The FireMV is for mainly 2D usage within a workstation. It's good for tasks such as making spreadsheets, viewing documents on multiple monitors, etc.

The FireGL is another card for workstations. It's used for 3D graphics rendering, such as CAD construction. I'd imagine, like any other workstation GPU suited for these tasks, it is a very high quality, but expensive, GPU. It's only real task is to do graphical rendering, and not gaming.

Though, if you had to pick one for gaming, go with the FireGL. Neither of them are that great for gaming, anyway.

Super Robot taisen OG 1+2 or Megaman Battle network 2,3,5,6th2

As a longtime fan of Megaman, as well as the Battle Network Series, I'd strongly urge you not to purchase 5 or 6. 1 is alright, and is needed to explain some story-related things in the other games. 2 is very good, as is 3. After that, it all goes downhill.

Yes, go for it. You probably won't notice much of a difference. Plus, a larger screen is always good.

What I find hilarious is that whoever wrote that worked so hard on making that junker seem desireable.
