So in summary, come this SUMMER you would be able to buy Laptops/Notebooks for $200-$300 and hook it up to your HDTV's, and use a wirless keyboard/mouse/game pad and play even newer games like Portal 2 at 1080P and other games at settings that consoles can only DREAM of. Xtasy26How did you summarize $200-$300 laptops? This is designed to compete with the Core i series. There is no way they will be less than $450. Portal 2 is a rather lame example since it uses the source engine and has low system requirements. PC gamers like yourself need to get over the fact that most gamers are fine with the current level of graphics. They would rather have more games than a boost in a graphics. PC gaming has lost to consoles, sorry if you didn't get the memo. You'll get over it.

Where is proof of that? Those links only show that it is played more. BC2 was also popular with pc pirates, one of the top torrents of last year. http://www.destructoid.com/here-are-bit-torrent-s-top-pirated-games-of-2010-190459.phtml[QUOTE="dc337"]

Dont forget how BC2 on PC slaughtered console sales

Crysis 2 will suffer the same fate. Pirated copies will outnumber legit sales. Excuses here will be given for pirates as always, Crytek will be blamed. Nobody cares.
Dice doesn't browse torrent sites and doesn't care about non-consumers.
They care about the people who bought the game. Hence, BF3. On PC in it's full glory.
Move on.
Dice watches piracy like every other game company. The reason they don't care is because BF3 is centered around online play which reduces piracy. The only good explanation for L.A. noire not coming to the pc is piracy. The Grandma/MMO/Nancy Drew/Facebook alliance is beating consoles by a small percentage. Take that!
Maybe if you point that out to rockstar they will ignore the obscene piracy of mulitplats on pc and bring over L.A. Noire.
Ofcourse it does[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"]
[QUOTE="dc337"] Pirates are to blame more than consoles. Or do I have to dig up that quote from the Crytek CEO that stated he would not do another pc exclusive because of piracy?
Later this year we will learn about how Crysis 2 sold the worst on the pc but was pirated the most. It happens with every shooter on the pc.NanoMan88

The PC fanbase thanked Crytek by largely not downloading the beta leak. The two console versions were the first to become available for illegal download. I expect the PC version is available now as well but I have'nt looked since my moral compass is pointing in the right direction in that regard.FilthybastrdPirates merely waited for the full version. You can do a torrent check yourself and see which version is being pirated the most.
Crysis 2 PC will be a top torrent by the end of the year and torrents will eclipse legit sales of the PS3 version.
They probably would have sold more overall if they designed it around controllers and made it a 360/PS3 exclusive. They really should have. Not good enough to compete with the original Crysis on the PC, and yet not good enough to compete with Halo Reach on Xbox, could Crytek have possibly made a worse game? They should have made it a PS3 exclusive since it has no good FPS games.

Like Black OPS we will see that it was actually popular with pc gamers but the majority didn't pay for it.
Ancient hardware is to blame. MS/Sony aren't.haberman13Pirates are to blame more than consoles. Or do I have to dig up that quote from the Crytek CEO that stated he would not do another pc exclusive because of piracy?

[QUOTE="killzonexbox"]http://www.computerandvideogames.com/298463/news/xbox-chart-crysis-2-maintains-winning-streak/GeneralShowzerSo it's the number one selling game on XBOX in the UK. How much can you stretch it...
I can't believe the PS3 version out sold the PC.

Maybe they should have made it a console exclusive.
