I've been saying for years, we're pushing 1000 different pokemon now....Kind of dumb to expect all of them to return for each new outing. They should be stand alone adventures with a mix of new pokemon and old faves.
At the same time I think they need to stop making so many ratatta, pidgey and caterpie copies.
There were like 7 great Metroidvania Castlevania games that have come out since SotN. I get that SotN was decent, but it seems like everyone just ignores the fantastic GBA and DS games.
Well, I'm looking forward to Bloodstained. It's been a long time coming! But I don't know exactly when I'll get to buy it or play it yet. Hoping to get the physical release on switch.
I never really did get to play Necrodancer, but I did enjoy Quest of Dungeons the bit I got to play of it. I wouldn't mind messing around on that again. But Cadence of Hyrule certainly looks like a more fleshed-out Zelda outing than I was even picturing!
@tingtong: I agree with you that this remake could have included something better than a dungeon editor. New content, new dungeons, some new area to explore....Maybe even an alternate version of Koholint like a dark world version of it or something. But this is an odd thing to settle on.
@tingtong: well like the article says, this will be a pretty basic dungeon editor. You can probably move around doors, place chests and keys and enemies, and string together your favorite rooms from the dungeons in the game.
@gargungulunk: Yeah, well maybe they weren't counting on information leaking, or were hoping most people would write it off as speculation. Maybe there were delays in production and they just couldn't announce it as soon as they wanted to?
So the "pro" version of the Switch would have the same form factor as the current Switch? That is pretty awesome. It would be great to get some specs, have a better idea of what we're looking at here. I wonder if Nintendo will have like "enhanced" updates for games if you play them on the pro, then?
