@skunkpants Actually thats a really good point. I hope they will have more realistic AI this time around aswell. Whats the point of a sniper rifle it you can't possibly stay hidden.

Its nice to hear that the're addressing the issues in Fary Cry 2, and that was still a good game. This game is shaping up to be very interesting indeed.

MGS 4 Isn't that good i agree with the IGN guy there. MGS 3 Is the best for definite.

Am I the only person thats sceptical about this? It doesn't add anything to the game content wise at all just challenges to complete while playing the main game. And the whole 10,000 zombie like challenge could be covered by the likes of trophies / achievements.

Its almost like they are just trying to create online parts to single player experiences to get people used to it and DRM will be just around the corner under the guise of these kinds of features.

Great article as always. I think new consoles are desperately needed to keep console gaming relevant. And its not about inspiration for new IPs. Its just down to technical specs. All other platforms continue to improve year on year like pcs, laptops, tablets even phones. But consoles are still stuck in 2005 and 2006. Thats about 2 lifetimes for technology!

The problem is the cost of creating new consoles and the fact that all the other platforms are overlapping in their area along with consoles trying to be more like pcs. Maybe this might be the last generation of very popular consoles. After this they may be more and more insignificant.

While I'm glad that multiplayer is gone, the reasons for it being axed are worrying. I hope the single player won't be axed aswell.
