Maybe it wasn't taken very seriously as censorship because: 1) This is WAY down the list of bad things Iran is doing at any given moment. 2) They banned shops from selling PIRATED copies of the game. If you were expecting Iran to be open to a game that isn't pro-Iranian, you need to shut off the games and watch the news a little.
Now let's see the article about Congress not giving the FCC the power to enforce its net neutrality rules, which could be just as harmful as this bill but is already happening.
Shame on the Telltale guys, but this article is WAY too over the top. Did Gamespot even run an article about the guy from Sledgehammer games begging people on Twitter to go to Metacritic and give MW3 great scores?
Both can be summed up with the same word: disappointing. Battlefield shipped as a buggy mess and isn't that good looking on consoles. MW3 was MW2/Black Ops in a shiny new $60 box. With the number of people still playing the last 2 CoD games online, there is no need to buy the latest. On the other hand, I spent an hour in a BF3 team DM game, with the number of players dwindling the entire time, then when it dropped from 3 on 2 to 2 on 2, the game said there weren't enough players and restarted the game making the previous hour a total loss. The best online FPS this year was Crysis 2, not the two recent overhyped releases.
Angry Birds is a fun game. What is the deal with all the hate? You people need to get out of your houses/basements/cages more often. Is it completely original? No, but how many of you are going to rush out next Tuesday and buy that game where Drake goes looking for the missing city and shoots a lot of people between cutscenes (No,not that one. The other one. No, not that one either. The NEW one)? Or that modern war FPS that just released? Or the modern war FPS that releases next month? Get off you high horses, there is nothing original in 99% of the games out there- regardless of platform. No matter how many crocodile tears you shed here, Angry Birds is still a cultural phenomenon. It has also been updated for two years with regular FREE updates. And remember, Infinity Blade 2 hits in December!
@Jenova-Witness @h4wkw0lf613 Wow. Point out that the logo looks way too much like the MLB logo and the little girls get their panties all up in a bunch, huh? And, for the record, the "Is it a real thing?" part is what grow ups call a joke. Get Mommy to explain the concept to you. And the logo is far closer to copyright infringement than, say, using the common word "Scrolls" in a game title.
@conrad3223 Infinity Ward is just a name that Activision is trying to capitalize on now. Almost everyone from the IW that made the first two MW games is at Respawn now. MW3 is basically Sledgehammer's first game with IW listed just to be deceptive.
