Cloudy day. Crossing the street (j-walking) between my school and bus stop. There was a bus on the left of me so I couldn't see the road behind it, so I decided to jus make a run for it and assume no cars were coming from behind it. Well there was a car, and I can't even believe by how little it missed me. He honked really loud as he passed.

I didn't think much of it right away, but people across the street muttered stuff like "omg that kid almost died". Nowadays I'm really careful...I J-Walk as little as possible and ALWAYS make sure there aren't any incoming cars. No chances.

Way to many, I screwed up my sleeping habits for around a month because of staying up a lot.010dragonslayer

This.

But I usually end up going to sleep in the middle of the next day.

No, it hasn't raised anything. It's not that great of a show, has stupid characters and is a waist of time. The golden era of cartoons is over.Legendaryscmt

I can guarentee you haven't watched more than 5 episodes. Just because you grew up on classics, doesn't mean you should close your mind to a new era of cartoons. A lot of things that would never have passed as entertainment, or survived on TV in the "golden age" is now mainstream. You're missing out.

I can't believe such a phenominal series has come to a close.

Never has a series had such a saturated world, brimming with detail, history, art, philosophy, charm, and style as Avatar. This show took me off my feet from the very start. The first book was excellent, the second book was better than any kind of anime/animated series/any sort of TV entertainment I've ever experienced. The third book had it's ups and downs, but was phenominal overall.

The ending was both satisfying, and ambiguous. It settled the long story, but left some grey areas in events that transpired that led to the events of the show.

If you haven't watched this show, I couldn't possibly reccommend a better one. This series transcends the title of "cartoon" and sits fittingly with the finest expressions of art I've ever experienced. Avatar: The Last Air Bender has raised the standards of what the television medium can provide in terms of entertainment, and I feel I've grown just a little bit, just by watching this "show".

I poured coke into it by accident LOL. The monitor went into all these weird rainbow coloured pixels, and so I pulled the plug on my PC, replugged it, and it works fine.

I think my PC likes to drink coke. Help?

Btw, true story. Anyone else have any miraculous stories?

visa prepaid card

Edit: I live in Canada so I cant say anything about the states. But I get 'em from Shopper Drug Marts or Mac's. Also, I haven't tried using a visa prepaid/gift card to buy things in the PS Store, but I've heard people say it works. And the whole point of a Visa prepaid card is to charge cash into it and use it exactly like a credit card. You can get the $10, $25, or hte $50 as far as I know. I'm very confident it will work in the PS store. I've used it to buy stuff online on websites and stuff.

I have a pretty small PS3 library...Uncharted, Assassins Creed, Motorstorm, Dark Kingdom. Rest of my money is split between my wii and old PS2 games. But I'm getting MGS4 and Soul Calibur in august.

"This time last year, sales of PS3 games accounted for only $13 million of EA's total net revenue. But this time this year? PS3 games account for $139 million in sales. Which is a 969% increase, and is miles ahead of 360 sales, which "only" made the company $81 million. Don't bother asking us how this happened, we have no idea. As for the other systems, the PC was the second-biggest earner at $86 million with PS2 sales just behind the 360 at $79 million."

EA's biggest source of software sale revenue is not the wii, not the 360, but the PS3.

I dont care for this kinda stuff, I play games, I dont profit from them. But I think I speak for everyone when I say...owned?

But keep in mind these figures are for EA's software sales, not the entire industry. That being said, EA releases a lot of games that a lot of people buy into, and it seems the PSTriple is on top.

Talk about a turn around from a slow start huh. Boy do I love fanning the flames of fanboy hatred.

What say you, lems? Or sheep? Lol@sheep even your kiddy casual crap isn't bringing in as much green for EA as the PS3.

Plus it explains how Yoda is quite broken. XBL might be filled with Yoda users flooring hardcore SCIVers.

8.7

Nice Score
