Oh no mastershake I already have 8800GTS 640MB 3 gigs and a x2 3800, I just got 500 bucks and I wanted to maybe add something to it, I know my system is fine but I like buying new tech.
I just got 500$ from work, because i recommended one of my friends and he got a job at my place, and my company pays 500$ to anyone that recommends someone and they actually do a good job, well lucky me. I just got my 500 and life is good, I was wondering if I should save it up or upgrade anything. specs
8800GTS 640mb
x2 3800
3 gigs ram
I was thinking about saving it and wait for 9 series but I dont know its free money that I got.
I had 162 I downloaded it, went from 158 to 162 and couldnt even play Rome Total War lost a lot of performance so I switched back. So I dont know about this new driver is it going to mess with my other games.
First of all a xbox360 is a mediocre system at best compared to a high end computer, I mean xbox 360 is sooo 2005, and by the way this is not a system wars forum its pc hardawre not 360 crap.
Technically 8800 could max out games in 2 years if the stupid devs took time to optimize the games a lil more just like they do on ps3 or xbox360, but there is no way a 880GTS can max out games 2 years from now, first of all it cant even max out some games today, Dirt, CoH, just a few of top of my head, you can max them out but your framerates arent there
Feel bad for you Marine because 8600gt runs perfect on stock PSU, thats the reason I always buy a EVGA brand so I got those 90 days to change my mind I can always upgrade it.
