No, it is from 2005 until 2007, which is two years, and this year we are getting Unreal Engine 3 games and Crysis, both of which are a big step up from current standards like FEAR and HL2.

Ahh this year which is at the end of 2007, what about the 2005 2006 and half of this year, thats two and a half year or minimal or no improvement graphics wise, yet better GPU's are coming out every couple of months.

It seems like that way to me, the video card industries are way ahead of actually the gaming industries, in couple of months you have the 9800gtx coming out, and 8800gtx hasnt even scratched a surface of its power, are the developers too lazy or something, other than crysis and alan wake, in these last 3-4 years I have seen little improvement in graphics in games, but it seems like graphics cards come out every month, I mean we dont need these things soo fast I know its tempting like hell I just blew350 dollars on a GTS 8800, but how much of this power is really being used? xbox and ps versions always get better graphics in games most of the time, yet have much weaker hardware, sometimes makes me feel like I am buying all these great components but the developers of games really just port out washed up crap to PC's, if you have a high end computer with a GTX/GTS you should be rewarded your games should make Gears of War or some xbox game look like SNES graphics, but apparently it aint that way.

Right now i am running x2 3800 and q6600 is going to be around 250$ so how much would a intel motherboard cost or is there any other things i have to get.

Are these guys insane or something, I am so disguisted at them OMG, I owned ps1 ps2 and still own them both I hate the XBOX 360, but with all the delays bs and the price tag and the damn blue ray I am soo tired of their lil blue ray crap, and now when things started to look up again with the price drop they **** it up again. I wouldnt buy one now if it was 200 they should just skip this gen and come back with a PS4 and I hope they learned something this gen idiots.
