@Slannmage: I beg to differ. Standard subscription to Game Pass would run $120/year....the price of 2 new games. You're an idiot if you can't see that value, especially with Xbox Studios games going on the service on release. 100s of games for the price of 2? Sign me up (already done so though).
@fitzy_2812: A bigger question is how they plan on using the iD tech going forward as Bethesda woefully underutilized that technology. They license that or use it in other Xbox Studios games it could be a big game changer.
@Terminator95: Don't pretend SONY doesn't do the same when in fact they pretty much have done the exact thing over the years, especially on 3rd party timed exclusives (they in as much invented that tactic and keep doing to this day...FFXVI anyone?). Only difference is that SONY does all they can to hide the fact an exclusive is timed behind NDAs or deceptive presentations whereas Microsoft is up front about such deals, even giving the time frame.
@gamerforlife96: Way to display your lack of knowledge and total ignorance in one short sentence. The TFLOPs calculations come from the GPU not the CPU. So WTF are YOU talking about?
@bryanweary: I'll likely get the series S version first since I don't have a 4K TV or projector yet so it makes more sense for me to go that route and use it in the living room as opposed to my game room. I'd also need to get either a new stereo receiver (or fix the HDMI on mine) or an optical extractor before I get one for my game room since I use a projector/optical stereo set-up there. But will get a Series X sometime soon afterwards, sooner if I can pull in a good commission check from work before the end of the year.
PS5 will be a LONG way off for me (being an Xbox guy first) as I still need to get a PS VR for my PS4 (which also needs a new BluRay drive, but it was free so what the hey!).
