@Massacah3332 They already have. But this is what the people wanted (they may not have said this but if you want progression, you gotta take the good and the bad). I have been saying this for a while, this will be an industry move and it is not much you can do about it unless you challenge it, but even then you would be at the disadvantage of those with deep pockets

@Neo_Sarevok yea hthe Used game deal is kinda something I'm wondering about as well.

From what they are saying, you can still sell your games and such without any problem. WHat I'm thinking it is, is something similar to what the Windows OS does when you have the key.

if you put the Key into one computer, the OS will be linked to that computer until you remove it, then you can use it on another computer the same way. If that is the case, I'm indifferent about that, because you don't know if they removed it from their console. buying games off Ebay would be a huge risk, much more than what it is now

@axon67 well it is true that variety is good. I don't think the reveal was about the games, but about the console itself. I see why they are going to attend Gamecon and such, so they can put more focus on games and gamers. The more I think about it, the more I see that they really are holding out on a lot of things video game related and are more vocal on the features of the XOne. They displayed COD because, it is a super popular series and Forza is a flagship MS game, other than that, this presentation was about the TV, entertainment aspect of it.

@nativehk But my question is, how does this benefit MS though?? From what it looks like they are doing, they will probably have digital venders (IE Gamestop) for that pre-owned issue. Unless publishers and developers were pushing for this by throwing some money at them, I can't really see this benefiting MS THAT much.

@MonoSilver @1234ritchie if they don't then someone else will get praised for the idea (Apple). MS can't win for losing though. I mean same thing could be said about cell phones, tv's, computers, etc etc, but yet MS is the bad guy for pushing technology, but isn't that what yall wanted??

MS obviously wants to be the ultimate all in one device, nothing wrong with that. The reveal was to reveal the console, and they did. I think too many people expected more than what was really presented in the 1st place. These past couple of years have been nothing but rumors and speculation and overhype on these sites and really, it is quite sickening

@pozium It is confirmed that it is not required to do offline things (single player bluray movies etc etc) . The presenter answered it in an interview after the reveal

I feel different than most mostly because I expected them to do what they did. Being a lil over than 2 weeks away, I didn't expect them to put all of their cards on the table. However, some questions about the functionality of the console and services weren't answered.

it is confirmed that it is not required to always be online to even do offline things (which I knew)

but this pre-owned fee thing is something I need more info on.

great that they showed the console and the controller and the kinect, but is the kinect required to be used with the XOne?

Xbox Live, will that in anyway be restructured as far as pricing and services are concerned?

just some of the questions I feel were missed. Good thing some reporters did get some additional info after the reveal. I just hope before summer ends, we get all of our questions answered.

But as far as the gaming part was concerned, I went in knowing they most likely won't show a lot of it. maybe they did leave us a lil more colder than they should, but I do think E3 is a better platform to show off a lof of these games they are talking about.

My only gripe about this reveal is that few questions were answered. Other than that, I'm not surprised at how the reveal went, 19 days away from E3, save that event for the games
