[QUOTE="SteelAttack"][QUOTE="GodModeEnabled"]Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa freaking WHOA. You mean plugging it into a surge protector will ruin it? Mine has been pluged into one since December...... *freaks out*DJ_Lae

I freaked out, too. I unplugged it as soon as I read it.

You might as well plug it back in, I have no idea how a surge protector between the 360 and the wall would cause any problems. At best the surge protector is going to take the brunt of a large sustained surge, and at worst it's just going to take the 360's brick along with it, which would happen anyway if it were plugged directly into the wall. Even a crappy surge protector is not going to cause problems- it's just a bad surge protector and does little more than add plugs to a socket.

Im just going to jump in here and quote this for truth and emphasis.

I have 3 surge protectors on all my equipment. And i know people that work at electronic parts outlet stores, that daisy chain surge protectors with 10 behind an uninterruptable powersupply.

Ill say it again, pluggin in a 360 to a surge protector is not going to break anything, and infact as DJlee says the only thing its going to do is protect the 360s surge protector from going south in the event there is a power spike or your house gets hit by lightning.

Ya im thinkning about getting a playstation 3, and i have some question 1. Whats the playstation store. 2.Is the system worth buying. 3. is resistense: fall of man any good to buy, with the controller can you stick the headset in the controller like you can with the xbox 360 controller or do you have to stick it in the usb port on the playstation?itoxipoptarti

1. The playstation store is the equivalant of Marketplace. Its the place where you can get demos, videos and downloadable games.

2. Its worth is soley determined by you. However there are rumblings of a price drop, at the latest by christmas so if you dont mind waiting that would be the time to buy it.

3. Yes, it is solid single player, and is great multiplayer.

4. No you cannot hook it into the controller. You can get either a wireless bluetooth headset, or if you have a Socom headset or any other USB headset will work, but you have to hook that into the USB.

Warhawk retail version is coming with the Jabra bt125 bluetooth headset for 59.99. So if you are interested in Warhawk you may want to look at that version.

Again, I will never understand the consumer support for Blu Ray.

Darth_Tigris

Quality content >>>> extraneous features. Consumers dont care about extra pointless features they want the movies.

And no the quality on Blu-ray hasnt been a mixed bag, Pirates 1 & 2, Casino Royale, Crank, and others are all considered reference material for hd optical discs.

[QUOTE="dvader654"]Blu-ray was always going to win the high def war but I still feel it won't ever take off.Darth_Tigris

Both formats are the equivalent of Laserdisc. Never bigger than a niche product.

Mm this holiday season shall be very fun.

Steelattack \m/ awesome sig and stuff \m/

[QUOTE="dohhyulittle"]

This game is awesome.

Though i would just like to point out that it was originally made on the Amiga long before geometry wars ever existed.

CarnageHeart

Right. I was just comparing it to the games most people would be familiar with. I'd never heard of the Stardust games until I heard about SS HD.

I hadnt either, but i got edumacated. :P
