From what I can see, they make console games look better (and im not just talking about the large number of bullshots floating about) and dont give you a feel for how good pc gaming actually looks....you really need to be there to see it. Even those comparison videos that are youtube comparing the 3 versions of Mafia 2 and Fallout 3...just to pick 2 games. In these videos the games look basically identical, hardly any real difference however if you compared the consoles and pc side by side, or better yet on the same tv there is literally no comparison! Also you cant tell or feel the framerate (duh) from screenshots and even videos unless its really bad which ofcourse can make a huge differenece in how much enjoyment you get from a game!
Overall i gotta go with Witcher although its close. Its got far more varied environments and its art style is jaw dropping at times! Crysis has no where near as much creativity in terms of level design!
Umm am i the only one who isnt finding witcher 2 difficult (playing on hard mode btw)? Like come on! Im sick and tired of all these simple games nowadays...then one comes along with some sort of difficulty and a pile of people bash it for it. Sigh...theres an easy mode...use it!
Just here from playing witcher 2 on ultra/high at 1680x1050 (absolutely awesome game btw...seriously great!) and theres no way you could mistake those pictures for the pc version running above medium! There really is no comparison. It still looks good and i urge all xbox owners to get it for its gameplay but it lacks the OMFG THATS AMAZING effect the pc version has!
Silly list....well the worst game I have played is Far Cry 2 which was a chore! But there is surely far worse games that they would be no way in hell i would ever consider buying!
Id say mine are pretty high! Theres alot of games considered to be absolutely great by so many here that I have found meh, Uncharted 2, Mass effect 2 and Super Mario Galaxy come striaght to mind! Theres also conversely a number of games that seemed to be near universely criticised here that I actually thought were very good eg Fear 2!
I agree with the users that think it looks just like the last game! Im sure its graphics will upgrade slightly but really...dont let your bias fool you into thinking it has some imaginary jump in graphical prowess
