Im at a loss to explain this! Just brought a new gtx 460(oh yea!), massive upgrade from my 8800 gts 640mb, and put it the pci-express x16 slot were my old card used to be,plug it all in and it beeps at me, indicating possible video card failure! Just sat there and looked at it for awhile...was pretty sure i had a faulty card but was like **** it ill just try the other pci express 16x slot for the craic and somehow it worked?? Wat is the difference? I know that slot works I had the other card in it before, and the card defintely was in right...i just dont understand it!

Anyone who says video games arent art...show them this game(and the equally awesome Machinarium!)!

Since system wars loves graphics so much.....this game is actually beautiful...timeless beauty! I have not been this wowed since I first seen Crysis! Amazing!

No as a member of Anonymous I feel I should inform the good people of system wars that we feel we have caused enough harm to Sony and their endeavors for now, our new target is Xbox Live which we will destroy sometime in the coming weeks. Our ultimate goal is for Nintendos online system to the only option for those with consoles, with its extensive lag, poor online selection and friend codes. Muahaha! Why did u not just upgrade your pc?

For example, if on a full hd 32inch screen you had a pc game running at 720p vs a console game running at 720p upscaled to 1080p which would look better? If you had a pc game running at 1680x1050 on that 32inch screen vs a console game running at 720p upscaled to 1080p which would look better? I know from experience that playing pc games at non native resolutions, at least on my monitor, looks terrible. Its better to sacrafice eye candy in order to run the game at native resolution. The reason why I am asking is that in system wars many budget pcs which can max games out at "console resolutions" for very cheap prices are thrown about but in a real world situation do they really provide a better graphical experience espically on larger tvs?

Depends on the display. Many low end displays scale poorly. 720p vs 720p on the same set will look the same so long as the framerate is locked on the pc version, and the texture settings are the same. Many games on PC even at the same resolution run better and have higher resolution textures giving the PC an advantage.

On a poor display however, the 360 upscaler may provide a clearer picture at 1080p then the PC running at 720p. But if you start running the PC at 1600x900 and upscale from there on the same display, it may tip back into the PC's favor.

A better happier healthier place? More than likely! And how would their non existance effect pc games? Would graphics now be at a higher level? Or would pc games be much less advanced? I personally think consoles...while dumbing down a number of pc franchises for retarded console masses...have hada positive effect on gaming in general (duh)...and its clear if they had never been made much less money would be spent on gaming, and so much less people wud decide to make game development their career.....and much less money would be spent by Ati/nvidia making the latest and greatest graphics cards! What do you hardcore hermits that are constantly belittling consoles and boasting about how much better pc gaming is in every single way imaginable think?
