I would pay annually for a game that had actually innovative features such as player made kingdoms and factions, player-driven quests, player run market, player built towns, and open world PvP. Unfortunately the one game that has all this, EVE, is a nightmare to learn.

I signed up but I highly doubt this is going to be good. MMO's have been really awful recently. The free ones are okay but mostly because they're free. They aren't engaging the way that MMO's theoretically should be. Keep copying the basic WoW format, guys, it will not work for you any better than it has for SWTOR or any of the other games that haven't been able to keep subscriptions.

@Gravelord_Nito probably will but i never understood why that was a thing people were upset about in the Witcher. if I made a game that was an RPG about Han Solo I think people would be pretty pissed off if you could make him a girl.

Kind of reminds me of how the church would burn books in response to someone going crazy in the 1500s. Not saying video games are as important as books but the reaction is just as dumb. Maybe responsible parenting, which the Lanzas did NOT practice, should replace nonsense. Parents, start explaining things to your kids instead of removing them for the rest of us. "But it's so hard to raise children." Yes, so maybe you shouldn't have any.

The last time I was this excited for a game was GTA IV.

millions of people play violent video games and I forgot that all of them are killers. and it's very irresponsible to blame people with aspberger's as a blanket statement because it shows a complete lack of understanding of what that actually is. this person was disturbed far beyond that and was trained by his mother to be a world-fearing, gun toting maniac.

the NRA and the media push blame away from themselves, be it the gun availability or the news coverage of these tragedies which FBI profilers repeatedly cite as a reason these incidents happen.

There is a such thing as intellectual property law. I don't know how mods work with regards to it, but he can probably sue the War Z people. And I hate the sue first culture this country has, but in this case it is absolutely justifiable.

@Mrod1212 these devs took his idea and made a dirty, unfinished product with it that has sold hundreds of thousands. I'd be pretty pissed too.

This list shows how bad a year it was for the RPG genre. ME3 was a massive disappointment and I'm absolutely not referring to the ending. GW2 was just MMO's but with far more streamlining and ease, which is nice but shouldn't be the best RPG. Honestly, all of em were not that great. Devs just don't make em like they used to.
