Brought in a hoard of treasures with my crew today. It added, then deleted every treasure we brought in. Hopefully I get retro'd my gold I should have already, hook hands and peg legs are 'spensive.
It's Atari's sale to lose on me. I like consoles, and will probably get this if they don't "persuade me not to". Ball is in your court boys. Also, I would love it if this was at least 0.0000001 Tflop more powerful than the X- it would market itself and shut the competition the *uck up already ;)
@Renunciation: okay, I'll agree with that. "Serviceable" is an appropriate synonym for my term "adequate" which I don't deny. But, as an owner of any device that can run any game available to consumers, it's a far way away from "genre defining" which if you truly are a manticore there is little time to pledge to titles that are not above a certain standard. My only point is that combat in tW3 is leagues below it's closest competition.
@creepywelps: IDK, I only really game on consoles, also my PC is probably a step behind my Pro and my X so there's that. But no matter, bumping up the difficulty (admittedly i played on default) and trading HDR for better FPS and higher graphical settings doesn't change the gameplay at all, it would just be smoother and harder with a better draw distance, and still shit. I guess it would "seem" more complex if you played it with M+K but for a game like tW3 that wouldn't be ideal.
@connorman01: there are only so many ways to swim in such a shallow pool. I'm sorry if I tugged on a string so close to your heart, I will give tW3 this: it's combat is equally as deep, varied and rewarding as "Final Fight", however in FF's defense that was 1989 and you only had two buttons and a joystick.
@connorman01: if you think tW3 has "decent" combat maybe you've never played anything with actual decent combat. I own tW3, looks pretty nice on the PS4 Pro but it's "adequate at best" combat leaves a lot to be desired.
*note all you's Canadians out there save the franchise in our country! Go buy toys, and lots of 'em. For your kids, or for the adult children such as myself, don't let it die here too :(
