@jonnybrownieboy: I'd only recommend a walkthrough for the original 3 (not counting the DS remake of FF3). FFIV through VI can easily be completed without a walkthrough, and most of the extra stuff isn't too hard to find by just exploring (areas are small compared to a lot of modern games)- though a few things are hidden fairly well.

@brightsunbeam: I mostly agree, but it doesn't hurt to have the extra content there for the ones who actually want it. As long as it isn't at the cost of good gameplay in the main story, I'm okay with it. Still you're right, if devs are going to add content, at least make it worth playing rather than tedious repetition.

I've tried the teleport mechanic (or at least the jerky turning mechanic) in a few Oculus games and I'm not a fan. I'll admit, I have felt slightly nauseous after a couple hours of Dreadhalls (scariest things I've ever experienced btw for 9.99), but a 1st person game is lame as hell when you can't move seamlessly.

I'll take mild nausea over bad gameplay.

Dragon YES!

I bought Dragon Quest Heroes for PC after watching some videos of Dragon Quest X and starting to really want Dragon Quest XI to come to the US. The 33% off Steam sale is what gave me the nudge and it's a fun (though fairly repetitive) game, but doesn't quite satisfy the Dragon Quest craving for me.

The gambit system in FFXII ended up being my favorite fighting system in the entire series. I'd love to see another game like FFXII and maybe even a direct sequel (besides Revenant Wings :))

Hooray, you're back! Like a dog who's left alone and wonders if he'll ever see his humans again, I wasn't sure if you'd be back... But you are!

Edit: A link to the full YouTube video would be very helpful :)

@Alekxander: There is still another place you can get the Zodiak Spear that you're referring to. The whole method of not opening chests to get it easily was an obscure quirk that is completely unnecessary to enjoy the game. I understand that extra OCD completionists might find it irritating though. Also, you are free to choose every action that each character makes in battle. That's your call if you decide to put them on auto-pilot.

@grayyfoxx: Tabata has also said good things about FF VI.
