Overall, I think this game is a disappointment if people were honest with themselves. Barring the Kojimamites & non existentialists, I'm thinking the game doesn't really deliver.

It does go to show how hype can elevate a game beyond what can actually be delivered. I've seen it on so many games, particularly this generation. Death Stranding seems to be no different.

I wouldn't say the game has received mixed reviews. It's just that it really hasn't blown everyone's socks off has it?

So, this is potentially another 4-5 year development plan?

I would have thought that after the debacle that was Anthem, that was a thing of the past.

OK, I'm gonna hazzard a guess that this is possibly the lowest, or one of the lowest scoring games in Gamespot's history. Damn.

Magnificent puzzle game.

Simply beautiful piece of gaming software. I must play this.

Bizarre that no video of this game is provided with the review?

Of all the games that need a video to appreciate how mental this looks, it's this one, I had to go to YouTube to see for myself.

Big thanks to Spleen for providing this awesome playthrough.

I could feel my inner ear freaking out with the game-play shown here. I can only imagine how trippy this would be in VR. I'll be amazed if there isn't a version planned for Occulus or Vive.

Part of me wishes this was a full blown movie. There seems to be enough here to make it a very interesting flick.

I'm not entirely convinced about the game-play, or whether or not there's going be enough variety to keep it challenging.

Jury is still out on this for the moment but I suspect the reviews will be quite revealing.

I ended up getting a PS4 Pro and I've never looked back. Absolutely rock solid piece of hardware and hands down, the best console I've ever owned.

Sony pretty much cleaned up with this generation, hell, even their PSVR sold decently.

@santinegrete: You make it sound like Disney actually makes awesome Star Wars movies.

@timemasheen: No. What's incredible is that the creative mind behind the game doesn't actually know what it is.

My personal interest in this game has tanked considerably over the last few months or so, mainly because of underwhelming play-through demos and an onslaught of media presence. It's just killing my enthusiasm as each day passes and we're already having discussions about sequels. Really?
