@sbnewsom: the way Arkane Studios is explaining this is that it has NOTHING at all to do with the original Prey world/universe/IP and that it is just a totally new IP using the same name. which is pretty lame to do.

let's see Nintendo make a game called Mario Brothers that is about some french guys who rescue a girl from a giant turtle monster. then have them state that it has nothing to do with the original IP. this is very much the same situation.

@jega: that is a bad comparison as the 1080 blows away the current Titan X in every benchmark. it is not "very similar performance", but it is cheaper.

i can't understand the draw to this type of thing. but i never understood why so many played any of the tetris wannabe "crush" games either.

when out in public i would much rather have an intelligent conversation with those around me than wandering around staring at my phone talking about some little kid's cartoon game.

@chewbacca72: you are full of sh*t. out of my ~150 games(2.4TBs) currently installed, ranging from 1997-2016, only 3 do not work in Windows 10: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Planet Alcatraz, & one of the Dark Eye: Realms of Arcana titles. so if i remember pre-algebra correctly after all these years that would be 2% of games? and even those more than likely can be configured to run with a little work.

check the Windows 10 answers.microsoft.com threads for games compatibility. most of those claiming the same thing with games ranging over the last 25 or so years have all also been proven wrong. there is a reason Windows has offered built-in compatibility modes for users since Windows 7 and also has the "run as administrator" option available.

your solution is to pay 3x more for an OS that only runs ~40% of games ever released for microcomputers and doesn't support half of the best hardware available to the market? great idea.

calling them "talented" these days doesn't mean much. it's like calling someone "famous" just because they were on some reality talent show. i would like to see who they have in mind and if they actually have any promising work actually published.

almost every other Mas Effect novel was written by terrible sci-fi writers like Drew Karpyshyn, who wrote the worst Star Wars novels ever.

joining a conversation and adding your own 2 cents does not automatically imply that you are disagreeing with someone. maybe when you're older and you've spent some more time of your life having adult conversations outside of the internet you will learn to understand how it works.
