The game looks fun! nothing mind blowing in terms of graphics, but thats ok. Halo Infinite just needs a great multiplayer experience to matter.

Fingers crossed we get more details on the multiplayer soon.

I will be picking this up on PC since its the superior system.

It's ok, not everyone can appreciate art for what it is. Most just get swept up in their own emotions.

Yes the Unreal Engine runs on the Xbox series X as well. Part of the Unreal Engine current technology was primarily conceptualized as a partnership between Epic and Sony. What this means we could only imagine at this point, but I'm sure Its going to benefit Sony the most.

SSD's don't do much alone, particularly on PC's. An SSD with some custom hardware on the other hand can facilitate the handling of game data in unique ways that can allow for newer game experiences. PC's can brute force its way to great graphics and experiences. This as we know comes at a great cost.

I paid $700 before taxes for my Gigabyte 980ti. Still enjoying the shait out of it to this day, so I got my moneys worth. Fast forward two gens now and we have the 2080ti holding the current position my card held two gens back. The 2080ti is part of the RTX line of cards; quite the compelling card I thought because of the new Ray Tracing tech. But what was the cost for a 2080ti card at release? Well listed price was at $1599.99. Thats more than twice what I paid for my 980ti!

To Nvidias credit my 980ti can run The Witcher 3 60fps at near max comfortably @1440p so I'm not stressing the cost much for now. Eventually though I will want an RTX card, and I will need to shell out a ridiculous amount of money.

So yeah actually I am a PC gamer, but more than that I am a game aficionado going back to the SNES days. I've pretty much played it all and continue to game to this day.

Graphics are subjective, but also objective to a certain degree. If you cant appreciate the technical feat of TLOU II then you just need to look a bit deeper into what makes the game what it is.

I get it though, some people need to see it to believe it. That's fine. You will see it eventually.

The PS5 SSD + Custom Chip Controller will allow developers to create the next gen experiences that they want to create. This goes beyond graphics; this can apply to particle volume, graphical filter headroom, and even level design. The possibilities can be endless when the developers are given the right tools really.

As an example you can look at games like TLOU Part II. This game ran 1080p 30fps on the low tier PS4 hardware. Considering TLOU Part II is one of the best looking games ever made, that is pretty amazing.

The PS5 is relatively weak compared to a high end PC in terms of raw compute power, but the PS5 seems to boost hardware that just might give it the edge it needs. The PS5 even seems to do some form of Ray Tracing for in game reflections which is impressive. I for one am excited to see what is possible given what I saw done on the PS4 and given what I saw from the Unreal Engine 5 tech demo. So do you see where I am coming from?

Really you can underestimate the PS5 all you like but the fact is there are some genius developers out there that will take full advantage of this hardware simply because they love making the best game possible.

You only need to look at developers that actually push game experiences to the limit. Naughty Dog as example, From Software, Capcom just to name a few.

You don't have to believe me now though, you will see for yourself soon.

@epal: TLOU2 was a great game. Anyone who denies it is just butthurt.
