2. Microsoft can't have this kind of attack happen with personal info because all the personal info you give Microsoft goes behind their wall, sure someone can take out Live for a while but that's it.

Jaysonguy

LOL! Okay, you can only say that assuming nobody tries hacking Microsoft, ever. And Microsoft has been hacked more than Stacey's mom. Live be damned, Microsoft can get hacked pretty damn easily, too.

Yes, Microsoft is the largest target in the world when it comes to hackers and no they've never been hacked.

Things that Microsoft does have been hacked because as I pointed out they're the biggest target in the world.

Microsoft themselves have never been hacked, the biggest attack in their history was the one time a hacker got into one of their redirection servers, something that held no personal data.

I meant the "royal we" Microsoft. What you said, things microsoft puts out. My neighbor's Windows (Microsoft) Firewall was hacked a couple years ago and some transactions he made over ebay were tracked and they found his credit card number. Point is, if you're on the internet... you're not safe. Sony, Microsoft, whoever. I have a 360 and XBL ...which has never been hacked. But it doesn't mean other people haven't been.

Link is ambidextrous. Play ALTTP. Depending on which way you're facing, he uses a different arm to swing the sword. I believe if you're facing right, he uses his right hand.

Actually, he's been doing it since the beginning.

Exactly one minute in, he uses his right hand to kill the monster.

It is a great score. But if you read the review, the only thing under "THE BAD" is an underwhelming two-player mode. Roll your eyes all you want, it seems like an unjust scale considering there are arguably worse games with better reviews... that have multiple things under "THE BAD".

When I adjusted the sensitivity, I always felt it captured a more accurate point from the wiimote to the sensor. Speed doesn't have anything to do with it I don't think.

Okay, so a two player mode on a game is automatically 8.5? I've just noticed most reviews of Wii games... if the games are actually exceptional and are very good, they get an 8.5. That seems to be a set number for the top Wii games, for the most part. Obvious exceptions like SMG, SMG2, zelda, etc aside.

[QUOTE="locopatho"]Cos I seriously think NSMBW and DKCR are the best 2D platformers Nintendo ever made. Yet I still find myself playing some of the older Mario games on VC instead just so I can use the cIassic pad. locopatho

I just caught this and have to say..... NSMBW and DKCR both use the Wii remote sideways, which is the closest thing to a cIassic pad we've ever seen.

Sorta. Find it uncomfortable to use it on its side, and you have to use motion. They should have had the option for cIassic.

But.. it's just a flick of the wrist. It's not that difficult. And yes... turning it to the side is more classic NES than the classic controller is..

Isn't it the software that has to take advantage of the potential of the hardware? By hardware, I assume you mean motion controls, which I would have to agree has never really been used to its full potential, but games like Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Kart Wii did a god job of showing us how great motion controls could be if a developer put in the effort.meetroid8

Here's what I've always wondered. Have the motion controls been so underused and slightly flawed in every game on the Wii because of the motion sensors or the developers being lazy when making the game? I always think the latter considering, you're right...Mario Kart Wii and MP: 3 (and to a certain extent, Red Steel 2 among others) are perfect examples of how the motion controls SHOULD work. To me, in a few Wii games... they are perfect.
