[QUOTE="emphaticleech"]

and as much as I love the multiplayer.. story mode is just a little too boring and way too linear for me. Were there any PS3 games you guys've played where the single player was just underwhelming?

Deathmedical

What difficulty or is it a set difficulty?

Not certain. Normal I guess.

I personally enjoyed MK vs. DCU. But it's no comparison to the new MK. It's just fun to beat the crap out of someone as Captain Marvel. SHAZAM!

I tell you that I am REALLY surprised to see that nobody has invested in anime blu ray. I see one person here with Akira but that's all.

MusashiSensi

It's because a lot of animes don't look that much better on blu-ray. I saw Akira in theater, laserdisc, vhs and dvd. Obviously, blu-ray looks better than all those. But not much better than it did on DVD. It's a LOT harder to make anything animated look better without it looking different in color and pallette. Don't get me wrong, once I find it... I'm buying the **** out of Spice & Wolf on Blu-ray as well as Spirited Away. But still.

I think that is because most movies are not shot in 3D, but rather get a post processing 3d treatment.. I'm sure that will change in the next few years.MethodManFTW

Never thought of that, but that is probably true. Only movie recently I think was shot in 3D was Tron: Legacy. Still watched it in 2D in theater, though. :\

However, 90% of things in "HD" are actually shot in HD.

Two biggest problems I have with 3D:

1. The glasses are mad uncomfortable.

2. Most "3D" movies that have come out in the past few years (with the exception of Avatar, which.. crappy story isn't made up for with amazing effects imo) have been lacking in the 3D. There might be two or three things in every movie that kinda came out of the screen at me. Definitely not worth the extra money if they're not putting the effort into it.

MusashiSensi

I am not a "fan" of 3d, but come on, man. In HD shows..EVERYTHING isn't full HD. So, your #2 problem really misses it's points. I mean that's like people saying "I won't invest in HDTV'S because everything isn't in FULL HD when it comes to shows/games.

There's a BIG difference in something that's in HD and something that's in 3D. Sure, not everything in everything is HD... but most of every movie/show/game actually is. Play an HD game on an HD screen, then play it on an SD. One of the advantages I like, for example, is Dead Rising. on an HD screen, the words aren't effing tiny!

Now, think about a 3D movie... Monsters vs. Aliens, for example. There was ONE part in that entire movie where the 3D actually seemed to be 3D and not just popped up from the screen slightly. There's a BIG difference in that comparison. :\

[QUOTE="frostybanana"]You get a pretty little golden d-pad next to your name making you superior to any who doesn't have that golden d-pad. Except everyone will have the golden d-pad next to their name for the next month so I guess you'll have no one to lord your superior PSN+ stature over. frostybanana

Yeah, but from the next month we can bully anyone online again for not having the golden d-pad, because that's what we do. :?

Except, we're not 12.

Uh huh, it was a joke. I thought that was fairly obvious. I did not literally mean that the only benefit of having PSN+ was that you have a golden d-pad next to your name. While we're on the subject though, a considerable amount of PSN members ARE 12 year olds.

Everyone on every online game are 12 year olds.

[QUOTE="PoisoN_Facecam0"]This is stupid.. what about those of us who already have PS Plus? We get basically nothing..ThePhenomenaIHP

At least we get the month we'll lose back and something tells me that they'll have pretty good deals for us next month.

Two weeks is a month now? O.o

Either way. Rainbows shoot out your butt when you get PSN+.

I definitely intend to play it through at least once. I was just kinda worried about it ... the first few missions are boring me to tears lol.

Link is ambidextrous. Play ALTTP. Depending on which way you're facing, he uses a different arm to swing the sword. I believe if you're facing right, he uses his right hand.

GreekGameManiac

Actually, he's been doing it since the beginning.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_07UXtRI9hw

Exactly one minute in, he uses his right hand to kill the monster.

*sigh*

He's not ambidexterous,it's just it needs special programming.

Look at all the official art.

He's left-handed.

Holding the sword in his left hand just made him look slimmer for the promo pictures. Myspace pics need to look good for Link, too. The fact he uses his right hand at one point in most of the games shows he is ambidextrous. If you can find his birth certificate or show me Link's fingerprints (the indentation of his left hand will be more clear than his right) to prove he's ONLY left handed somehow, then I'll believe you. Fact of the matter is, a boy who (seems) inexperienced that can just pick up items and learn to use them in seconds shows me he knows how to use both damn hands.
