Okay, so a two player mode on a game is automatically 8.5? I've just noticed most reviews of Wii games... if the games are actually exceptional and are very good, they get an 8.5. That seems to be a set number for the top Wii games, for the most part. Obvious exceptions like SMG, SMG2, zelda, etc aside.

Jaysonguy

Why are you pretending that's the only thing wrong with the game?

I'm not saying it's the only thing wrong with the game, gamespot is. Maybe I missed something in the review but it didn't nothing but praise the game up until the last paragraph where half of it mentioned how two player was underwhelming. *shrug* I would probably give the game a 9.0 due to the replay value and some of the boss fights are really nifty.

@trugs26

Agreed.

I've yet to get bored with multiplayer, especially since PSN's been down, but I probably will get really tired of it a month down the line. The game is beautiful, and well written... but it also seems recycled to me. And as I said before.. the linear narrative is just TOO linear for me.

I think the people that will take the PSN+ free month, that weren't paying for it before, are jackasrses who are just as bad as the hackers.

So taking a gift from Sony is just as bad as shutting down their online network and having the FBI on you? That makes sense.

I totally said that. You sir, are a true credit to man's ability to comprehend what is written. And hackers didn't shut down the online network. Sony did that.

But all joking aside and on-topic;

People are going to complain. People find things to complain about. Just let them. I know I'm going to complain once the remake (of the remake) of the Fly is released because it's just total BS. But as far as this PSN stuff goes? To each their own. I'm personally not taking the free PSN+ because I wasn't paying for it before. I just want to make sure my credit card info was really encrypted (like BBC news said Sony revealed) and I just want to be able to use the PSN store again once this all blows over and I know for sure it's safe.

Really? You have no problem with private info yet you signed on here with a username and not your real one, interesting. So I guess this new "open spririt" of yours is new.

Jaysonguy

Or his username could be for the ambience. Like playing D&D. I'd rather name my Dwarf fighter Brendel, than.. Rob. Just sounds cooler. :P

I still buy DVDs as well as Blu-Rays. Mainly because I have one blu-ray player (PS3) and it's in the living room. All other movies I buy are in DVD format for the other rooms. Cool thing is, most DVDs have a blu-ray and regular version in the same pack these days. But right now, in my blu-ray collection:

Trainspotting

Akira

V for Vendetta

The Evil Dead

The Evil Dead 2

Army of Darkness

Bubba Ho-Tep

Drag Me to Hell

Black Swan

Beauty and the Beast

The Dark Knight

Pan's Labyrinth

The Orphanage

You're saying you don't think they owe us anything? I think they're offering something that's fairly decent. Sure, it's not their fault they were hacked, but they do owe their customers something more than just staying in business and upgrading their security. What, you think shuttering the PSN was ever an option on the table? Lol.

Travis281

If you're not paying for PSN, then no. They don't owe us anything. If you are, then they do. It's not rocket science.

and as much as I love the multiplayer.. story mode is just a little too boring and way too linear for me. Were there any PS3 games you guys've played where the single player was just underwhelming?
