I can imagine Microsoft doing it.

They have taken pretty much everyone else's idea.

Motion controllers coming soon.

Quiz game already done.

Singing game on the way

Avatars = Miis and Home.

Tell me when they get their own ideas someone?

A lot of DC comics characters will be in there.

Probably only the mainstream ones. But you wont actually be able to BE any of them. You'll create your own hero and fight alongside the DC characters, helping them.

Think of it like a branded City of Heroes/Villains.

To be honest, who couldn't see this happening?

Square has been announcing rpg after rpg for the 360 but only said about Final Fantasy on the PS3. What we can probably expect is for Square to announce that the 360 only rpgs it has in the works to come to the PS3 in the near future. If they don't believe it makes fiscal sense to keep Final Fantasy to one console then it also wouldn't make sense to keep it's other rpgs on one machine.

What we should keep in mind though is that GTA4 went multi-platform, yet when it came out more people bought a PS3 than a 360 because GTA is still seen as a Playstation game, it is a name that has been synonymous with Playstation since Grand Theft Auto 1.

Same with Final Fantasy, it's been on Sony consoles since FFVII and is still seen as a Playstation game. When it comes out in Japan they'll buy PS3s because they still don't trust Microsofts big American 'wonder'.

When it comes to companies all they care about is the money, that's why Square has gone multi-plat, especially seeing as FFXIII could potentially cost them more than Spirits Within did considering how good it looks.

But when it comes to Loyalty our compatriots in the east know their stuff, no amount of 360 exclusive rpgs will change that.

I'd have to say it would be Rock Band.

In the US it's only like $150. Or something like that.

So, you're looking at £70-£80. Here in England, you can't even buy the game and instruments together, and both bundles cost £180. Over twice the amount. Although HMV do a special 'deal' (If you can call it that) that you get £30 off if you buy them together.

Then, you only get one guitar, but you need 2 so someone can play bass. As far as I know, the GH controller works with it, so at least you can use that. But of course, you cannot buy an official Rock Band guitar seperately.

This is cynical money grabbing at it's worst. Jacking the price up by such a stupidly high amount, and then removing the ability to buy some of it in bits and then not even altogether.

I'll probably wait for GH4, than for when Rock Band comes out on the PS3. My only problem is that I may never play Hysteria by Muse if I don't get Rock Band.

Where Snake and Big Mama saddle up on the motorcycle and ride out.

That truly is epic and wouldn't be out of place in an action movie in this day in age. I was breathless, and that's not a good thing to be when you're called into action shortly after.

I love the comments saying

'It's not overrated. It didn't deserve a 10. More like a 9-9.5.'

Surely if it didn't deserve the 10 it is by definition overrated.

To be brutally honest, I think every GTA game has been overrated. Have never really enjoyed any of them. Never really know why. It's obvious they are technically accomplished games, but I just don't get any sort of enjoyment out of them.

I would say it's probably the sandbox style. But I am a vet of World of Warcraft and never got the same sort of dissapointment. Possibly because of the social interaction I experienced in WoW.

I know GTA4 has it's multiplayer modes, but there's no way it could ever compare to the thousands of people in MMOs.

I have no doubt that the gaming world would still exist if Nintendo had never entered reality.

At the end of the day they started as a trading card manufacturer.

The PSone originally started life as a CD-Rom drive for the SNES. It was due to them reneging on a deal with Sony that prompted Sony to make the PSOne.

So, in a way Sony still would have entered the video gaming market. Microsoft would still have made windows.

Lets face it. If you make technology, you're going to look at the gaming market and decide you want a slice of it eventually.

Panasonic made the 3DO. Phillips made the CD-i.

Samsung, Nokia, LG, all have gaming modes on their mobiles. There is no way that gaming would not be around if Nintendo had not decided to make Game and Watch instead of trading cards. Although, we wouldn't have some of the gems that exist today.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is my favorite game of all time. If Nintendo didn't exist, that void would basically be empty as Nintendo games make up most of my all time games list. So it'd be sad, but I own a PS3, and wont own a Wii, but I owe a lot of my childhood to Nintendo.

The gaming world would exist.

But it wouldn't be the same.

Some people on the MGS4 forum have reported Disc reading problems after playing MGS4.

I have been playing it and have had no problem playing other PS3 or PS2 games.

I was going to say Roland on the Ropes on the Amstrad

But, I believe I had an Atari 2600 before that, and I definately had pong for it.

But there was a game that had aeroplanes flying around on it, but I couldn't figure out what to do in that game, and I can't remember the name of it.

So, I'm going with pong being the first game I ever owned

I'd say Sephiroth would win. Guy is just too tough and evil. Takes 6 people to bring him down in FF7. And they have to be able to cast spells.
