There would be no point since you would get destroyed in online games. And A LOT of games dont support the 360 controller. Everything else is the truth. I just dont agree on going cheap when building a gaming PC. Either buy a console for $300 or go big and build yourself a real gaming rig.

If you bought the 360 on launch day, by now, you would have paid $250 for cross-game chat. You likely would have had your 360 sent in for repairs at least once. And at least a few of your 360 games have been scratched. FACTS.

Its probably going to equal a 4870 or be a little faster but with DX11 or whatever small new features are introduced. The 5770 costs more than a 4870 but performs worse. I think the X8XX is the only way to go.

The 5870 is already very energy efficient. Just how much weaker is it than the 5870?

All I can really think of for the PC are Crysis, ARMA, Starcraft 2, Diablo, Empires, Civilization, WoW, all Valve games and the multiplatform version of some FPS games. Its almost like the PC is predominantly RTS/RPG/MMO, but I always get flamed for saying that.

For the record Im a heavy PC gamer but I only use my PC to play the better version of a multiplatform game because there arent very many exclusive PC games that interest me.

Not having one right now doesn't mean it's not as powerful. Years ago the PS3 had nothing that could even touch Gears. Does that mean the hardware is inferior? No.
