I do think that PS3 offers a wider range of genres than the 360.

However, as many people have pointed out:

• PC has the most games
• PC has the highest scoring games
• PC has the most diverse range of games and genres

These can't be argued with. I don't say that as a fanboy or as a troll, but PC has genres that consoles don't, like RTS and Simulators.

Actually, those can be argued with. The consoles have all genres, even RTS and simulators. And while i like to play those genres on the PC, that doesn't negate the fact that they are defenitly also on the consoles.

As for the highest scoring games, I think it's about even on every platform. The games with the highest score throughout the generations were however not on the PC.

So the only thing you got correct here is the fact that the PC has the most games and that's a logical inevetability.

I wonder why people continue to buy wii and 360 when its obvious sony's playstation consoles have the best and most unique GAMES past 3 gens.

Lol, are you kidding me. I haven't seen a unique game on a Sony console in ten years, exepct maybe Uncharted. First of all, most games are multi-platform and therefore the same whatever platform you play them on.

I haven't used my PS3 to play a game in half a year and won't do untill Uncarted 3 comes out. My Xbox360 and PC i've been using every single day to play games cause the are better for it.

This was the same with the PS2, i used it to watch DVD's but mostly not to play games. For that i used the Gamecube wich was way better for gaming and had way more interesting and unique games.

Looks like this is a red line in Sony history. They make great multimedia machines, but when it comes to gaming they are way behind the competition. Don't get me wrong, i like my PS3 a lot and sometimes there a great game i want to play on it but for the most part i'll stick with the Xbox360/PC/Wii.

Oh and you said that there are thousands of unique games on the PS1/PS2. I'dd like for you to mention them. I would be very surprised if you could mention a dozen or so on every Sony console to date.

I bought the 3DS a week ago and i've already put 30+ hours into TLoZ:OoT. And while i've finished that game 5 times already (on various consoles) it's still lots of fun. And it will be the same with all the other remakes, Mario, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, etc. And personally, while it took some getting used to in the beginning, my eyes are fine now. Even after extensive play. Turning of the 3D also defeats the purpose since the games look way better in 3D.

So while one may argue that the game line up is to slim to warrant a purchase now, that will soon change. I know that i'll be having lots of fun with my 3DS for some time to come.

I'll get bored of it as soon as BF3 comes out.

He is a PS3/Sony fan. He's just trying to be sarcastic (maybe you are sarcastic too here). I've never said that there are no good games on the PS3 though. Both platforms have good games, hell most games are multi-platform and the exclusives are generally the best on either platform. The games he mentioned, unfortunately don't fall in the same category. While Streets of Rage is a descent game, Sonic is pure crap (no offence intended to players who might like the game). Guess tormentos was actually one of the players who liked the game for whatever strange reason. Or maybe he's just praising the game cause it's free to try and prove his point that free is better. I think we'll never truly know what his motives are.

PSN+ is going to force me into getting a bigger hard drive...balancing the space on my launch 60gb has been annoying. I don't know how 20gb 360 users were able to do deal with that.

I just started my free trial, but I'm disappointed that Sonic 2 is no longer free...I believe it was free last month for PSN+ members.

Sure there's bound to be a few good things on there but the rest is crap. Try and make a calculation that only factors in the good contend and leaves out the garbage.

And i also hear you guys praise the hour long demo's all the time. But when i play a demo it doesn't take me more than 10 minutes to figure out if the game is any good.
