Yeah, I remember when I outgrew trick or treating but my sister was still young enough that my parents had to go out with her. So I got stuck handing out candy one year. I had fun with it though... i set up a strobe light and put on a generic ghost face costume and scared kids.

You'll get academic probation and a semester to turn things around. Why are you failing this early on though? If it's lifestyle (too much partying, etc) or something you can change, I would do it now. College is expensive. If you are just failing because you're not good at it, maybe it's time to think of other options. College definitely isn't right for everyone.

Depends on the game. If there are high expectations, an 8.5 can be disappointing. It's like a really hyped up game getting a B instead of the A or A+ everyone expected.

However, if the game doesn't have a lot of hype and it's not part of a venerable franchise, not a sequel to an awesome game, etc then an 8.5 score can be a pleasant surprise.

All depends on the game.

Ah... correct me if I'm wrong, but did you guys have a falling out because you discovered he was saying things about you behind your back? and that has lead to the non talking? At the beginning you made it sound like you guys just weren't really hanging out anymore. If this is the case, ask him if you were doing something to bug him. Maybe he didn't feel comfortable confronting you about it and had to vent to other friends. Not saying it's definitely your fault though... some people just love talking ****, and that's because they have issues, not you. And honestly it's just best to remove yourself from people like that.

Well, from what I've read, it seems that there is a pretty big rift between you and your former friend. You should try talking to him though... being "best buds" for years and then it all going to **** sucks, but maybe you can salvage something. If not, just move out. I get what it's like when friends start treating you like crap, and you don't have to put up with it. If there's nothing that can be done to repair the friendship, just get out and move on. Otherwise it will just escalate into something bad and regrettable things might happen.

My hope is that with the better hardware, they can make a Metroid game that can be fully played in either first or 3rd person. It would be pretty cool, as long as neither perspective was lacking. I also imagine Dead Space -esque graphics (think parts when you're outside of the ship and can see outer space). I'm not obsessed over graphics but I think Metroid is a series that could really benefit from a more powerful system. Retro did such an amazing job with GC/Wii hardware, I'd love to see what they can do on Wii U.

Anyway, what do you all want for Metroid Wii U?

Head shots are really important... getting a C in the head shot category really brings your overall score down. I think if you get an S in everything and a C in head shots, you'll end up with an A.
