I think this a good step forward for the franchise in all honesty . i say this because when i went back to the older games after playing the beta it really did feel strange and a like a step backwards so i think thats a good sign. There is a slight learning curve but because of these cool new mechanics i don't mind. The aim down sights and sprinting do not throw off the balance at all IMO (don't regenerate health while sprinting). My only complaint is some guns need to get the nerf treatment . Assault rifle is way too powerful and i won't complain about the pistol because i love it ( its pretty powerful though). Opinion anyone?

I'm not gunna even try to figure that one out . listen man, i hope they announce some cool new video games that i can look forward to . if they don't they don't , what am i gunna do get all upset about it ? if they do announce some cool new video games then i can look forward to playing them . if not then they're stupid because they get less of my money . thats it . it sounds like your like a little depressed my friend . getting all emotional when a company doesn't reveal a new video game and all lol . these companies are huge corporations that have a business strategy. for them not to unveil a few new ps4 games to get excited about at an event called the "playstation experience" would be a little silly but I've seen companies make more idiotic moves no doubt . i think its a sure bet with this one but i could be wrong . seeing the last guardian at this one though? i wouldn't hold my breath lol

@JangoWuzHere: no they are amazing . not a single problem with them. I've had about 5 different issues with my ds4 so far.

@GTR12: because it gives us something to look forward to ! were not dead are we! lol its fun to anticipate something but its also good to temper your expectations so you don't make them so large it couldn't ever live up to your own measures :)

@Heirren: wow i love your mind lol.. fascinating analogy . idk man i know the new one will come out in NA next year and i could use some extra bucks so i didnt have to spend any of my paycheck on 2 new games i really want. i also traded in a couple old games along with the 3ds which got me a year of XBL along with fc4 and gta v . the thread was started because i felt the upcoming lineup for 3ds was pretty bleak and was wondering if i was the only one that felt that way. I've played all the games on the system that matter except for persona q and i guess pokemon oras but I'm not really in the mood for pokemon as of late. maybe that will change over time then ill buy a new 3ds and pick up all the games I've been missing out on. pretty simple :) hope they announce some new awesome games in between now and then though so picking the new 3ds will be that much more enticing.

@lamprey263: i promise you my awareness of the 3ds library goes beyond gamestops measly selection lol id say i played most of the better games on 3ds . my favorites being albw and bravely default. persona q is cool and i plan on buying it when i get a new 3ds next yr. i think they made a competent smash bro on a handheld but still think its meant to be experienced on a console. i love pokemon but think I'm kinda growing out of it naturally or getting tired of the same old formula the game has had since red/blue

Got a feelin were gunna see quite a few game announcements. I'm calling it now , god of war ps4 ! i can only dream. What do you guys think well see?

@Coco_pierrot: @jcrame10: for what its worth i freakin hate assassins creed. painfully tedious gameplay and criminally boring story wise. far cry is f'in awesome ur bugging. they innovate enough each go around to make it feel fresh to me . and they usually come out 2 years or more apart so I'm hyped when a new one comes out .when call of duty is bad , i could admit its bad. even though ghosts wasn't horrible , it was just too damn similar to the other games . advance warfare does enough different to interest me. its really good and super fun to play online because of the new mechanics. the last of us was honestly one of the top 10 games I've ever played. buthey man w.e though its all subjective. also jcrame , my point is nintendo needs to build on what they already have. create some new fresh franchises that compliments the old ones . thats it. I'm sold . stop underutilizing your awesome franchises (metroid , earthbound , for christ sakes make a pokemon rpg for the console i mean seriously everyone wants this , and bring star fox into 2014. that new wii u one looks a lil too 64ish to me but its too soon to tell

@Coco_pierrot: lol ur not the type of person who enjoys things too much are you ? glass half empty kinda guy? most video game stories aren't these amazing epics with intertwining storylines and sub plots . I've played metro redux recently and that was a pretty cool story. mass effect is pretty awesome . the witcher etc .but lets be clear its mostly about the gameplay experience with a nice simple plot that lets you know who/what you're up against so you can immerse yourself in that journey. middle earth far cry come to mind as far as recent games go. sunset overdrives story is cool enough for me man . I mean its not freakin star wars or lord of the rings but cmon now lol those things come along every now and then and that goes for all different mediums . we just had one in the last of us as far as video games go . you got a bad argument with uncharted though . the franchise started on ps3 . as did assassins creed. nintendo franchises , while i do love them , have been around for a looooongg time. just around the time your mom started growing peach fuzz on her upper lip lol
