@Planeforger: please you gotta mention some of these 35 games you speak of . this stinks of bs . ill be glad to admit I'm wrong . gotta include some shovelware if 35 is the case . 15 games for wii u and they're all exclusive? you say i don't need a ps4 to play all these games? so can a wii u play any of those mentioned . and what 15 games can i exclusively play on wii u ?, please delight me because thats seems to be your argument . wow i love all three console makers but was defiantly a nintendo fanboy back in the day . some of these posts make me real comfortable in my decision to not be so much of a brand loyalist because i see quite clear how sad it has become over there in nintendo land lol . I'm not gunna defend a company who doesn't have enough output just because I'm a fan. its silly.

@Litchie: far cry 4 and gta v for ps4. think ill have more fun with both those games then i did on 3ds this entire year . please direct me to these games you speak that offer more fun than both of those games . id be delighted to hear your answer . most fun I've had on 3ds so far has been ALBW and bravely default. smash is a console experience and pokemon is now entirely for young children. way too accessible for my taste( pains me to say that). where was i going to sell my 3ds? eBay? lol okie dokes then man . only game ill miss playing is persona q but will rebuy when new 3ds comes out and ill pick up that and xenoblade ( never played wii version) . idk man don't feel that silly . please tell me where would be an adequate place to sell my 3ds . please do tell .

@Planeforger: got ps4 and the xbone . i have played 20 games between the two of them that i have thoroughly enjoyed.PURCHASE JUSTIFIED. cant say the same about 3DS OR WII U . also ps4 is only a year old so even though your argument doesn't work in the first place , it really doesn't work when you factor that in . lol i love when people think they're clever , makes it fun for me . right now in my back catalog , i got the last of us ps4(never played ps3 version) , cod aw , middle earth , sunset overdrive , mlb the show , destiny , far cry 4 , nba 2k 15 , and madden . not to mention everything i have already played . so ps4 in year one i think is doing fine . and xbox is doing just as good . its not that I'm not a fan of nintendo because I've owned every one of their systems since the nes , but they're doing a crap job at appealing to people who don't wanna play something thats mario and zelda or pokemon. even though i do , i want other things as well . seems so hard for people to comprehend lol , must be a lot of your purchases must be made with mommy and daddys money so there are no gripes

@madsnakehhh: the delirium seems to exist within my friend lol , if you had read the whole post you'd see my frustration is with the lack of expansion for the company . i love nintendo ip but that alone is not enough . nowadays people buy systems as a platform so they can buy all their games on it . thats why you see people who own a wii u buy 9 or 10 games for it because they want to justify their 300+ purchase . yea I'm a lil frustrated so i ragged on some of these loved franchises because i feel like thats all i see from them . its annoying point blank .

and it gave me a lil uncomfortable twinge while the gamestop cashier was deleting all my memory lol . idk what it was but there was no game on the horizon that was stopping me from selling it. worst case ill just be rebuying it when the new 3ds comes out if theres some games that could catch my interest.(never played xenoblade so thats the first to try and convince me) sad day for me because i love nintendo and now own no nintendo hardware . my feelings are this is based on nintendo's bad job at putting enough interesting games out , especially ones that aren't nintendo franchises . don't get me wrong i love nintendo franchises but the ones i love most on their handhelds aren't even there like metroid for one and not sure if its first party published but where is my golden sun lol. idk man , pokemon would usually do it for me but it just didn't . the wii u would be something id like to get if it weren't for having to spend more money on a classic controller because the big stupid tablet controller is the worst thing to have happened to a nintendo console since the virtual boy . think ill buy one when they put out a metroid , a traditional 3d mario , and that new star fox. then ill have smash mario kart pikmin bayonetta metroid two marios and a brand new zelda to run through . seems like a good strategy but for now goodbye nintendo :,( (got far cry 4 xbone and gta v ps4 for my trade in btw)

@Grieverr: i hear u . i guess there is a part of me that wants nintendo to rejoin the race . i know realistically it won't happen immediately but they honestly can do it . theres no need to get rid of classic ip . just add new ip thats a little more mature story/setting wise for the older nintendo fan . thats all they gotta do . new system , honestly don't care about the name but give it a cool name to appeal to the young kids , on par with ps4 and xbone graphics , regular super comfortable controller . thats it! they're back in it to win it . i don't understand what they're doing . i really hope this new console shows that nintendo is hip to these things . i mean seriously thats all they gotta do . i got friends who would buy a system like that in a heartbeat

@Epak_: i have ps4 and xbone and they are both awesome but i love nintendo and wish they'd do something with their potential . its sad to see .

this post is honestly based on my anger and frustration with this company rather than me trying to be outrageous. I'm starting to think I'm growing tired of nintendo and their stuck in past approach to gaming . I'm not trying to be a troll here because honestly a good chunk of my best gaming experiences have been on nintendo consoles but i think other developers have seriously surpassed nintendo in terms of storytelling and gameplay since the early 2000's and excuses are constantly made for them because of child like brand loyalty . that whole nintendo magic touch thing is kind of getting played out to me. there have been 8 mario karts lol enough already . super smash was so beloved now its just the same ol game with better graphics and feels like a soulless remake that pays homage to a game of the past . etc. i could go on and on .

nintendo has become a company that will use the same franchises to appeal to a new generation of younger kids that they used to appeal to us . its lame and its obviously not working as well as it should be.and honestly thats fine but where are new ip, maybe hire some new fresh devs that are willing to make more mature new ip that aren't ultra violent but still have the magical nintendo touch to them with a cool endearing story and cool new setting besides the goddamn mushroom freaking kingdom! they have no idea how to cater to fans that have been with them since the beginning and have given them all the money that has made them as big as they are and thats what bothers me the most. this company has no idea how to evolve and cater to multiple crowds . they call themselves innovators and imo they are the polar opposite of that . the only thing they innovate on is a new stupid controller everytime around now because wii was a big success . now they see how fickle those consumers were now they are begging for their fans of the past to help bail them out. everyone needs to stop feeling so bad for this company . they have become so maticulous and calculated and thats why people have lost interest in them . they are at their best when they are risk takers (software wise) . ok we get it you want to appeal to kids .think about it mario kart 8 , a new smash bros , new fire emblem , new pokemon followed by remakes , zelda etc. its all crap we've seen before . if we were to apply this to movies and their sequels they would be straight to dvd at this point. nintendo you are boring ! what the hell happened you!

i mean honestly they put out multiple iterations of the same franchises constantly . obviously mario and pokemon are good as a friendly themed game but take zelda for example . your telling me they cant put of a more accessible approach out for the younger players , and a nice new fresh more mature , deeper story zelda for the more experienced players . your telling me people haven't been clamoring for something like that . even pokemon . leave the accessible pokemon on the handheld and a pokemon with more complexity as far as rpg elements go and etc . for the console?!

ahhhh that felt good , sorry about that . this was more of a venting kind of thing than a post . I'm sure most people will not read this whole thing and thats ok.
