@jenovaschilld: Not sure what D3 you was playing. But I was on about 20 hours a day playing. Made BILLIONs of gold on the gold ah(never touched RMAH). Game had plenty of issues mostly lack of content. But lag and servers was not among the top issues for long.

@jenovaschilld: d3 did not have issues with lag and such. Sure like this beta and all betas in the history of gaming, they had some but was addressed fast. Problem with d3 at release was an empty shell. And instead of filling that shell they turned the game into a cartoon loot explosion kids game that most people could only get a few days maybe a week out of every season before it got boring.

I was actually amazed when i woke up saturday morning and not only was all issues fixed. But never had a crash or disconnect at ALL for the rest of the beta. And this just early access.

Now all they need to do is listen to the feedback they got from the smarter players on their first beta and fix their crappy endgame.

@matman01: not really unclear if you ever suffered real loss. My wife of 23 years passed away in 2015. I would have burnt the world down myself to save her so i KNOW I would not sacrifice her for the greater good. Sure Id regret it later. But in the moment you KNOW the truth.

I have no problem sacrificing myself. But asking someone to sacrifice that which they care the most about is a different story.

@mooglestar: Pretty sure any rational person feels the same way. What good does it do to save humanity if you throw it away to save it.

My question to those that think Joel was wrong. Can they honestly say they would do the act themselves or only good with it if someone else did it?

If you would not be willing to do it yourself it is a good sign you are wrong.

@hardwenzen: Do not have to pay to be in beta. Just have to pay to get the 2 extra days. But my problem is. This game that bad that early access is only a 2-3 dollar sandwich

@miguelgreene: Never meant to be combative or offensive. Just that video games do not reflect reality at all. Like I said about hair and make up.

But really in an animation you would not be able tell the difference between a 20 and 40 year old. Few lines and butt sags a bit. Look at borderlands. Everyone thought those were 20 year old woman playing the roles. But the movie gets announced and the woman playing those roles are 50-60 years old.

@miguelgreene: because in a series with the zombies and unreal mutations a character that does not age correctly is the part you cannot accept because of reality? Never questioned how a woman in full make up and hair stayed that way while fighting zombies? Realism is not their goal here.

@philip6k: Id explain why it was boring but do not want to post spoilers for those that have not played it.

But it was. They totally abandoned what made the first one such a good story. And went a totally different direction. I am pretty pessimistic about the human race devoid of society but not as much as whoever wrote the story for that 2nd game.

After playing season 2 i have absolutely no interest in the series. The games story was so boring I started skipping cutscenes in a game that is 90 percent story with garbage gameplay.

@alphazonex: Can have an opinion but not one that is wrong. Even if you took the bias out between turn based and action. And looked at the modern FF games objectively. They not even good for an action rpg.

Someone mentions FF15 was ok. I agree. Except name a FF game prior to it you could clear in 10 hours.
