@camverge: Realistic expectations. Did you enjoy what you saw and did in the beta? I did. Do you want more of that? I do, and that's probably what we'll get. I expect at least 50 hours of what I had in the beta, with new skills, new gear, talent builds, crafting, and missions on different difficulties.
If that sounds good to you, buy it. If not, don't. But don't let wonky PR photos get in your way. The footage is out there, you had a chance to see what you're getting in the beta, you can know if you're going to enjoy the basics of the game. Base your decision on that.
@carsomnyr: If you went into the Dark Zone in the beta, you had very different experiences with different groups of players. I can only imagine the DZ will be exactly that in the full game, with 24 different people stretched across the 6 zones. If you keep running into the same cluster of reviewers as you play, it won't have the same tension, in my opinion. Not a full justification, perhaps, but still a worthwhile one, I think.
@Brakkyn: No, you don't have to decide to buy it before you know about it. You don't have to buy the game day one. No obligation. None. Zero. You...can...wait.
That said, there have also been two betas, one of them open. Anyone who wanted a sense of what the game is like had three or more days to find out. Is that 100% representative of the full game? Of course not, but the basic gameplay loop was certainly there, and if you liked that (which I did), I don't see any reason to hold back (which I didn't).
@DuoMaxwell007: You may be right about the extent of content in The Division, but truth is, we don't know much about the end game. I'm buying the game because I know I'll love the leveling process, but I am hoping for more. Not ready to dismiss it yet, though.
