[QUOTE="Kokuro_Kun"]We get free stuff on PSN, we dont have to pay to play games online. Paying 50 for PSN gives us much more than you get for your 50$. If you look at it like this, YOUR PAYING 50$ FOR XBOX LIVE JUST FOR CROSS GAME CHAT. Thats the only difference. I can get everything else for free on PSN. Also, unlike MS, Sony allows devs to freely release FREE DLC. MS PUSHES FOR A PRICE TAG ON THINGS THEY WONT EVEN MAKE MONEY ON. Come on guys.

Dead rising,forza 2,etc says hi.

Que?Why bring the ps3 into a 360 thread....Sad.But the 360 does more and it's way cheaper than the ps3.360=win.

Do some homework on it and you'll see why.

[QUOTE="clone01"]

[QUOTE="Persistantthug"]Ahh....now we're back on topic.

Please allow me the honor, sir:

PS3.

No backwords compatibility. All PS3's have backwards compatibility....and from what I understand XBOX 360 B/C isn't very effective....so I heard.

No Headsets included with PS3. You're right....however PS3's allow one the option of using ANY bluetooth headset, and ANY USB headset as well.

No HDMI cable included with PS3. PS3's do have HDMI cables now. I'm possitive XBOX 360's have no HDMI cables included anymore, for quite a while in fact.

HavocV3

no...slims don't have B/C, neither do a lot of the fats. i specifically bought the MGS4 edition because is did have B/C. i'm kind of curious if you research some of your statements before posting them. and again, i must ask why you color code your responses. all of us here can read these posts. does color fonting sentences add to the relevance. i don't see it, but maybe i'm missing something here.

colored font is like talking loudly.

people talk loud when they want to sound smart.

 THAT IS FUNNY!!!!!!!

[QUOTE="genaroll"][QUOTE="shinrabanshou"]With one you're getting the option to subscribe, getting free content or discounts on content that may be of greater (digital) retail value than the subscription fee itself.

With one you're getting to play parts of games you have already paid for at retail in the price of the game, and additional content/features that other systems largely have access to for free already, with a few exceptions. It's optional, if you don't think it's necessary to get a full game's content when you pay for a full game.

You do the math.

shinrabanshou

Same with xbox live they are both the same you really think with gold you just get to play online..........Are you aware????

I already wrote "additional content/features." But I'm sure tons of people pay $50 a year just so they can Facebook on their 360. :/

Well i pay 50$ a year for discounts and deals on games,movies,etc..,early releases,some free themes and gamer pics,and more.. if you had psn and xbox live you would know that xbox live gold still offers better features than psn even with plus+

I already have LBP, but I'll keep an eye on it and see if it manages to sway me.

[QUOTE="heretrix"]

[QUOTE="danish-death"] Difference being that for XBL you pay to play online while you dont with PSN nor PSN+. Example: An online gamer like me is sort of forced into buying XBL to play BC2 on the Xbox 360, while I can play for free on PS3 and, if I feel like, pay for PSN+. It's no the same.shinrabanshou

It is the same, you have a choice not to use either if you dislike what they offer, or don't offer.. It's like any other form of entertainment that you spend "disposable" income on. Online gaming isn't a necessity, you don't NEED it..

It's really not the same thing. Sure it's not a necessity, but you're paying to access content you've already effectively paid for in the price of a game with XBOX Live. It's optional, sure, but only in so much as you don't mind getting a full game at retail. That's not really by definition a premium service.

The PSN+ service is a completely optional premium service offering additional content and benefits.

They are both same.With psn+ you get additional content you won't get as a regular member.With xbox live gold you get online play and additional content you won't get as a regular member.Put one and one together you've got the same rip off services.

[QUOTE="red12355"][QUOTE="fun-da-mental"]

Its not M$ exclusive. M$ didn't manufacture my keyboard, mouse, motherboard, CPU, graphics card and drivers on my PC.

fun-da-mental

Your point? I can guarantee you that Microsoft/Sony didn't manufacture all the parts in your 360 or PS3.

Really, fine me a PS3 that is not manufactured by Sony or Xbox not manufactured by M$. I can guarantee you that you can't find non-Sony brand PS3 . Also, I can also guarantee you that you can by a PC that is manufactured and branded by Sony, Dell and others and not by M$.

microsoft and sony put the parts they bought from other companies to make their systems.mind=OBLITERATED!!!!!!!!!.
