If any other MMO released a few minor content updates and then came out with "MMO 2" 2 years later it would never be accepted. This is why they played down the fact that this is an MMO by any standard - they want it both ways.
Lest we forget: "We're going to continuously update the game from now until the end of time. That's always going to be part of the philosophy of Destiny. We always wanted to build a new universe but keep building upon it, rather than to do a complete and utter restart periodically." Bungie Director of Production Jonty Barnes
@yukushi: The actual fact is only 15% of movies have a female protagonist, and only 30% have female main characters. And these are the same percentages as a decade ago. Where is this "feminist takeover" you're warning everyone about?
As a point of reference, are you actually Asian or just a weeaboo?
@yukushi: What truth? So where's your proof? Show me studies of feminist influence in the movie industry.
Anyway, I'm old enough to know that people like to cry the sky is falling whenever some societal/cultural change they don't like gets noticed by the masses and the media. You know what? The sky never falls.
@infaredj: Yeah, where's the football and baseball coverage? And the tabletop games? And the PUA advice?
They've been putting up entertainment news for literally years now. You just look out of touch persisting with this complaint. Don't read what you don't want to know about.
