[QUOTE="eclipsed4utoo"]nope, it is selling faster than the 360 did in it's first 4 months.dustin-diamondbut much slower than Wii... I mean who would have thought Sony would be third!? It's no surprise. The Wii is positioned at young kids, casual gamers, and new gamers. It has a "pick up and play" accessibility to it. And its priced to sell to that market. And the PS3 is selling better than the 360 did in its first four months EVEN WITHOUT LAUNCHING IN EUROPE. I've really been on SOny's side on all these forums, but I will say one thing. I wish that we didn't have to live with this PROMISE of games that will harness the power of the PS3. I wish that there was something NOW. But I guess MS's early launch sort of forced their hand. I think Sony probably could have gotten another year out of the PS2 if they weren't up against the 360.

[QUOTE="ghaleon0721"][QUOTE="GIJames248"][QUOTE="lennygundam14"]hold on, even if the white engine is open source, dont they state that it uses 6 of the 8 cell cores, cause if thats the case, then hoe can it get ported to the 360?GIJames248well the 360's cores are each general purpose and more complete then the Cell's SPEs so a single core on the Xenon has more power than a SPE on the Cell. In addition the Xenon's three cores are hyperthreaded giving it six virtual cores. The White engine could run on the 360, but if Square Enix is making full use of the Cell then physics or something might be a bit worse on 360. Sounds like all that techie mumbo jumbo boils down to "Any port of FF13 would be crap" We're not talking about Capcom, Acclaim, Bandai, or any other of those whores who will develop for any system no matter what. We are talking about Square, and while I'm at it, I'll throw Kojima into this category too. These are companies that CARE about quality in their product. They are creating the BEST possible game, that means that they need the BEST possible system. Right now the BEST system is the PS3. I think that a year from now when the game comes out, Sony will have an install base large enough to satisfy Square. They are not going to release a sub-par product (by their standards) to the world just so it can be multi-platform. I think that BEFORE they would go multi-platform, they would release the game with a $70 price tag. All that would mean is that Square has to ignore the profit potential in the Xbox market in order to make a BETTER product and they are asking the consumers to subsidize some of that. I'm still not convinced a port would be "crap" as you so poetically phrase it. Yes, most ports are compromised in quality because of laziness or lack of concern, but I believe that IF Square Enix ported FF13 to 360 then it would be a quality product. That said since the game involves no mulitplayer then the PS3 version would still be superior just by the lack of disc swapping alone, although I doubt their would be much differences in either version aside from that. Yes it would be "CRAP". Because it would mean that Square would NOT be putting out the absolute BEST product that they are capable of, they would instead be catering to the lowest common denominator.
Being loyal to a single console severely limits your access to really great ganes, That's gaming on their terms, The way I see it, if I put the cash on the line to buy a system that company needs to be loyal to me.bdhoffI completely agree, they should be LOYAL to ME. So far, all I've got is some great games, free online, wifi, and blu-ray.
[QUOTE="GARRYTH"]it's over prime. NEVER. the best momment in the movie. chills down the back of the neck lolghaleon0721Wait, so it's a remake of the old transformers movie? I thought it was going to be something new and original? And while we're talking about best moments in the movie, back up a few frames and check out this one.... "You who are without mercy, now beg for it? I thought you were made of sterner stuff" Oh and one more Unicron: I have summoned you Megatron: No one summons Megatron! [QUOTE="lukasz_erecinsk"]That is a good thing, I love the series (except for FFX!), and I think that the game deserves to be released on all platforms capable to run the game. mmirza23
Are you kidding me, FFX was one of the better ones, better than 8,9 and X-2 which I really hated.
No way, 9 was the best. X was probably second. 9 had the four character party, the abilities system, and one of the most emotionally charged and vivid endings of any game I've ever played.
