Very nice single man (?) kill, one of the best i've ever seen. Good find.

A long time ago i saw a crazy gears of war one where a person was playing in a tourney here on gamespot, and he was hugging and dashing between walls/corners like crazy trying to hunt/chase down his opponent. He did so in a flashly, timely fastion with what I think was a shotgun kill. Btw if anyone can find this moment for me and post a link, that'd be awesome!

Another multikill one I've seen lately is one from Mw3, where one guy shot a rocket (?) up in the air, which came back down and killed the entire opposing team of 9 players (it was a big team game i guess, cuz i think there's only 8 players for 1 team usually).

Pretty sure they just showed it and I just got to the channel right at the end of the trailer. Whatever they showed, it was The Last of Us. MC-Reap

Yup. Unbelievable, 2 zombie games revealed by 2 big devs (naughty dog and epic). This is ridiculous. Very disappointed.

As for Geoff Kieghley, he can go to he11..sorry, I just don't like when someone lies (eg, he hyped it up like it was something to see for yourself, and something that's unbelieavable) just so they (in this case, Spike tv) can get more "hits". It's like seeing those youtube videos with misleading titles. Totally unprofessional. I mean, I didn't liek the guy at first, but honestly he just made my image of him worse.

Honestly, I'm disappointed.

Blizzard, on the other hand, is great. Diablo 3 looks fantastic, even though it was just a CGI trailer, they really do get you to believe in their worlds.

I thought it was already revealed as The Last of Us with that teaser.wooooode

I heard about this game before, but didn't look it up until I read your post. No gameplay footage yet - if it is Last Of Us, I don't want another zombie game. So sick of those.

I thought of many things, but I think it's gonna be sony's version of SMASH Brawl.

But I really hope it's something else. I want a sequel to Mark of Kri/Rise of the Kisai - just something that's not a FPS shooter, and something that's original/unique in terms of gameplay features.

What are your predictions??

Infamous 1

Dragon Age Origins

FireFox67

Agreed, but I'd replace Infamous 2 with infamous 1. Infamous 2 has prolly one of the best, most simple endings ever - no cliffhangers, bittersweet (good ending only).

Dragon definitely - you get attached to the characters, and the ending makes you realize how well you've come to know your party - BUT with both games there are not enough "sad" moments displaced throughout, they only have sad endings

[QUOTE="glitch2424"]

[QUOTE="VHEISU"] man i just tried to download the updates. no go. is there any other way i can get the updates??? i just want to get it as shot it sounds fun but if not ill just go back to bf3VHEISU

I thought there were 2 ways to update? One was p2p, which is peer to peer, and direct download. P2p would be faster if theyre alot of ppl playing, direct dl would be faster if hardly anyone were playing. I'm not sure what updates you're talking about

i tried them both and i have 15 mbps internet and it was only downloading at like 15 kb lol

I would help you out if I could, but I think those are the only ways to update. Hopefully there's another way

You most likely won't enjoy the mulitplayer, mostly because the other players who are left playing the game are hardcore players, and you will probably get your ass handed over to you - also, the aiming in this game is very zaney (ie. hard to control, and thus imprecise).

BUT, playing it back in the day, this game has the single best original mode in recent memory (nope, there is no exaggerating here), and that is team snk (team sneak). It pits a regular team of players with players who have cloaking suits. It turns out to be very cat-and-mouse type of game, and it's very fun. The only way you can see your other "invisible opponents" is when they shoot their gun, which makes them become visible for a split second, through their shadows, which are casted when under the sun, or through dust thrown up in the air when your invisible opponents run for it. The invisible team must stay in the shade, run only when necessary, and take the visible opponents out by tranquilizer guns.

A lot of people overlooked this mode, and I can see why: the entire online experience is pretty cumbersome, and the gameplay unrefined. However, take the word of a jaded gamer who's been playing games for a very long time (and someone who plays all types of games, besides non-fighting sports games [i only play boxing and mma games]) - this will probably be the slickest mode you will ever see in a video game - both on paper, and in-game.

I know you said no shooters but I can't even begin to tell you how much fun Resident Evil 5 is when you're playing with a friend. I must have played through that game about 12 times with several different people and I NEVER play through games that many times. Dead Island is also really fun if you team up with 3 other people, Portal 2 is another fun one (if you're into puzzle solving) and you'll get some laughs out of it.

NamelessJay

I second portal 2. If you like 2d platformers, rayman origins is good for 2 players (it has 4 player coop, but 2 player coop is best) - but this is offline multi only. Not wholly recommended, because it's definitely not your best bang for buck.

I think the maps are EXCELLENT, for all the reasons why you just mentioned (except for the sniping problem - I noticed the lack of sniping spots, which is unfortunate for long distance sniping).

My ONLY camplaint besides discouraging long ranged weaponry is yhat the maps are LESS iconic than they were before. Textures are used between maps too often, so you'll most likely get deja vu with certain spots on the map. Also, less set pieces to set maps more apart
