@Dragokai I think the issue is that it is for the multiplayer.
This could mean that if you havent paid to win, you could load the game and not actually get to achieve anything or 'work' your way up because a player who has paid to win just kills you with is paid for super gun.
However, getting in from work and olny have a short time to play a game, things like this mean I could 'ensure' i had a fun game.
Its a tough call.. what I really think is the issue here is that we dont all see the same value in what you get for your money. In one game its 9.99 for 3 levels, in another its 9.99 for one character..
@arqe Well for one, you will be able to play modded content. This is not really possible on consoles. That means that a games life can be extended and that means you get to play your fav games for longer.
If you are already a hardcore gamer, then you will use this in a different way. You gamer machine will be where you play the majority of your games. In your bedroom or office lets say.
Then if you buy a machine with the steamOS, that machine doesnt have to be that expensive as you can stream from your expensive gaming machine to it.
Now you have a MAXIMUM machine in your bedroom and in your living room. You only have to ever upgrade one to get the benefit in both.
@johnnybowman Yep.. if you want toxic comments, this is the place to be. When the industry reports on the commuity, GS contribution is the vile comments section. Their shows get lost in the attention given to the comments. They need to fix it. It is getting out of control.
Awesome. Well handled. I think a lot of people need to realise that the site they come to everyday doesnt share the same views or stance as they do. They should be feeling a little marginalised right now. Good, they should. Nobody at GS shares the views expressed in that reviews comments section.
If the comments where turned off would it have a 'massive' effect on what I come to enjoy at this site? NOPE
Are they the only way for GS to get feedback on their shows? NOPE
While I dont personally think this show directly contributed to the issues in the comments section, I think the aim of the show was lost on a lot if the audience.
I think a less regular and predictable spot might help. Instead of it being a weekly show, it could be a bit more random and be a collection of reactions to different things.
This might weed out the comments aimed at getting on the show and might help others realise what the point is.
