@Act_Chill but you havent run? You still play right? So the game population still looks high, others see the community, hear about those who spend nothing and play.. the reality is that your 'success' story helps drive more to the game.. and from that group, some will pay to catch up :)

@JBStone1981 @godonholiday There are more than enough objective things to review a game on. I dont want to know what you think is good. I want to know based on those things what rating the game would get.

I want solid reviews. Not opinions. I want to know what the gamespot standard is and the reviews to follow the structure outlined by gamesspot.

I can get opinions from guys/girls who start a blog or some rant on twitter.. even those who celebrate that they are not journalists.

What I want from Gamespot is some proper research, play time and reviews that can be compared to each other.

Like: Within this genre the game is.., on this hardware the game is..

The review can even end with an 'in my opinion' section that covers the writer explaining that its not his or her cup of tea..

what would be awesome is at the end, any other gamespot writers who played the game giving a brief ' I loved it because..' or I hated it because.. a cheap network meta review..
