@videogameninja: Don't let them fool you into thinking that you're "out of touch" or that "additional monetization is necessary" because it's all total bullshit. There is, absolutely no reason, why games can't be released without the need for dlc, microtransactions or any of that poison. Literally every single other form of entertainment is released finished, day 1, complete, off to work on the sequel / new album / book / whatever they go, and so were games, for about 40 years.

Now we have constant internet connections, and all of a sudden "there's no magic wand". And people fall for it.

The Irishman movie comes out soon. Absolutely nobody on Earth, says "Hey, Scorsese, where's the roadmap?"

Martin Scorcese: "Huh? The movie's done, I hope you enjoy it."

"What? What about new content? Please, tell me about the deleted scenes we can buy for $5 extra."

Martin Scorcese: "It. Is. Done. Goodbye."

"No Season Pass?"

The meat of the gameplay in the new Hitman games is great, but I really don't like the unlock / progression system. I would replay levels anyway, as I still do the old games and always will, but "travelling back through time" to do a mission you've already done in order to unlock a new weapon or gadget to help you do another mission that you've already done just doesn't work for me.

Awesome game, it just that it feels like there's something missing, I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Focus-grouped to death: Every single Ubisoft game post Far Cry 2.

"focuses on our fans and their desire to express their passion for our franchise (including but not limited to microtransactions),"

I wish I knew how to paste in the laughing emoji, because wow.

Looking forward to a Jimquisition on this one.

I like this guy, he really understands how the universe he created can be explored in the game world and welcomes it, he's not dismissive of it like other authors such as Sapkowski.

@uninspiredcup: Outbreak - the only online game I've ever been interested in.

@NorthernDruid: Probably somewhere in the middle. Man, I'd love a game with the depth of the original X-Com though, to this day one of the best games I've ever played.

Never have I referred to a movie as survival horror. I'm not saying it's wrong, just... Odd. I always associate it with games, just by default.
