@MxAa I disagree- ordinance drops are way better than spawning weapons- one of the most annoying things about previous Halo games were to pricks that time and camp the power weapons- the drops give everyone a chance to turn the tide at some point in a match

@Mega_Loser Theoretically this can help skilled players as well- think of it as adding a more realistic degree of peripheral vision. The periphery is out of focus compared to the screen, but you'll be able to detect things like movement, or a muzzle flash in the corner of your eye, signalling you to look and neutralize the threat. Similar to a decent pair of 7.1 headphones, I think this tech will be way more beneficial to core gamers than it will to casual gamers who still have their standard AV cables hooked up because they don't understand the concept of HDMI yet.

@M3o5nster Dude my screen name is GREY_FOX1984, are you actually trying to imply that you are any more excited for Metal Gear Rising than I am? I've been waiting for a full-fledged cyborg ninja Metal Gear game since the VR Missions on PS1

Battlefield's multiplayer carves its own niche by being dramatically different from CoD in terms of scope and style- MoH (and in turn, Battlefield 3's single player game) try to ape CoD's style in an attempt to grab their audience- and gamers like you hop up on a high horse and blindly call every CoD game a clone of the last. Is that really your opinion though? or is it the opinion you decided to have because it's fashionable to hate CoD? Personally I'm not what you would call a CoD apologist (the series DOES have its flaws), but Medal of Honour is clearly the weaker series of the two- whether you're referring to gameplay, narrative, multiplayer or even graphics (MoH has the more detailed screenshots, but runs like crap compared to CoD's silky framerate).

...and everybody with a PS3 is going to be playing The Last of Us, if you wanted to throw out a possible gem that the CoD drones would not be likely to play, should've gone with Ni No Kuni or Remember Me

@M3o5nster @jenovaschilld I take a bit of issue with challenging critics to be "brave enough" to criticize CoD. While I definitely play a LOT more Halo 4 than BO2, I can see that Treyarch really tried to push the boundaries with that game. Due to CoD's built in audience of hardcore fans (who are quite particularly about the "feel" of a CoD game), there wasn't a lot of wiggle room they had to play around in, but they managed to throw in a branching storyline that was actually rather interesting and in which your choices (often dictated by your gaming ABILITY and the objectives you are able to successfully accomplish, in addition to simple "press A to do this, press B to do that" decisions- which was really cool to see) had a profound impact on how the story played out. They also really overhauled the loadout system, which really changed the balance of multiplayer in a way that allows veterans to cater to their play style AND noobs to experiment with a bunch of stuff until they find what works.

Again, I am in the Halo 4 camp and really haven't spent a lot of time in the BO2 multiplayer, but to say that BO2 was a cookie-cutter CoD sequel with no effort put into it, is just an inaccurate claim.

Best Buy had it for $20 on boxing day; not a great sign for a relatively new release- all the other big name titles were $40 (picked me up some Far Cry 3 and Hitman Absolution... good times, both)
