JpR you have to understand everyone has their horror stories with every company. I got a cyberpower and it works perfectly. No problems at all. Even HP has problems. My friend got an HP and it was not at all what he ordered. Cyberpower is the way to go. For that kind of money you could get somethings 10 times better at cyberpowrer.supergamer1289
yeah all my friends who have ordered from ibuypower and cyberpower got their stuff no problem. you can always call them too, i mean its not like youll get gipped out of your 1700 dollars, plus you can save about 200 dollars and get a computer thats way better than the one you're looking at. i dont know, i just think its a far better investment for your money.

wow for that kind of money...let me suggest something for you.  vist www.ibuypower.com and build your own intel core 2 duo configuration (or athlon x2...whatever you want).  they will put it together for you and ship it all in about 1-1 1/2 weeks depending on which shipping method you use.  if you need help deciding what should go in it...just ask us.  trust me if you dont know what your doing its far better to go with something like www.ibuypower.com to build your pc.  this way you will ensure you get a good setup for your money.

i would pick up the msi 650i board,  it is much more stable and it oc's better for cheaperinyourface_12
I've decided to just buy my stuff in a week or less...it's not worth waiting a month for the 6600 to MAYBE come down to 220....That's the time value of money, folks ;) PV FTW.Staryoshi87
Ill take a look at that board. yeah see...ive been waiting a longgggg time to build but if i wait and see prices dont actually drop ill be really dissapointed. from what ive read the price drops are most likely coming...so i guess i could wait out 1 more month. anyone else care to give their opinion? wait or buy!?!

[QUOTE="habitat"]

what about this psu? its a XION, havent heard much about them but the reviews are good.

 XION 600W

Cyborg-21
I would still go for the Corsair HX series. If your'e on a tight budget for PSU, go for the 520 W version.

sounds good, thanks for the advice.

whats your current graphics card?  this might influence our decision a little more.  if you can run the games you enjoy playing now on your pc at a decent frame rate you should get the wireless router because playing multiplayer makes a game so much more worth while.  if thats the case you can just upgrade your gpu later.

personally i would wait an extra month because of the E6420's 4MB which will should a noticable difference in performance, but if you really cannot wait then get it now. ps the E6420 will replace the E6400.yoyo462001

thats what i really wanted to know, cause i didnt want to wait a whole month more for nothing.  if the 4mb will make a noticeable difference i might just wait because it will also make a noticeable difference in my wallet :).  Can anyone check out the power supply link i posted above?  i might go with that psu.
