I say yes. Nothing matches the quality of polishing that goes into a first party Ninty game. They have the highest standards of any game developer I have ever seen.

[QUOTE="NathanDrake"]First true AAA exclusive is Ratchet & Clank! But there are other AAA games for it that ar multiplat.....wht is your point again?NathanDrake

its not even AAA at game rankings cow stop kidding yourself

http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/932369.asp

Av. 90% that's AAA !! Next time check first!:) Good day!

i guess you cant read because as soon as you load up the site it says 89.7%.lol cows

Click on the game itself!! Go right ahead!! See what it sais!!

There has already been thread wide arguments on this subject. Whilst the actual average ranking of the game is 89.7% as stated in the description blurb of the game as well as numerous times on the actual games ranking page, the site rounds to the nearest whole number and puts it in a big shiny font at the top of the page.

I still maintain my view that the 89.7 score is the more appropriate score to take, but apparently some people do not agree.

It's an argument that cannot be won by either side.

Yea right. Pics/links or it didn't happen. You probally made a game in RPGmaker with a sub par mary-sue story line and recycled sprites from the last 10 years of isometric rpgs, and now you think your the uber l33t game dev.

That's an interpretation of how the system works. The absolute value is calculated and then rounded to produce the shiny number at the top. I'm taking the absolute value into account, I see no fault in that.

sparkypants

...you know what forget it...just forget it. I dont know how to make this any clearer. look if you really want to take the absoulute value then go ahead but dont try to claim ownage for i, because as of right now GR still recognizes the game as a 90%(AAA) GET OVER IT!

good day sir

GR also recognises it as 89.7% and states it perfectly clearly multiple times on the page. So how are you people working this out, the highest number is the right value, or just the one with the biggest font.

I'm not trying to claim ownage, I've already stated that I believe R&C to be worthy of an AAA rating. I'm trying to figure out why your way is right, and mine is wrong.

89.7% = 90%

Holy hell are you people handicap?

ImaPirate0202

Look at what you just said. 89.7 != 90 89.7 == 89.7 How can two values that are different be equal? Perhaps you should be questioning your own mental fortitude.

First off, I'm not a lemming. Second, I'm not doubting R&C is of AAA quality IRL. But as it stands the true score on GR is 89.7%. The rounding is for skimmers. If someone could please point me to a source that states that the rounded figure is the right value to use when determining the score of a game, then that's fine, but a couple of people saying that one figure is relevant when the other is not does not seem like any definitive resolution to this argument.

sparkypants

the fact that the big highlighted 90% on the top of the page should kind of tell you that this is the score GR is using... I thought it was obvious

Then why by thors hammer do they have the actual score on the page at all? As far as I can see, which score you take is preference or interpretation. Perhaps if a Mod or Admin of GS outlined specific rules pertaining to scores on external ranking sites, this argument would not come up.

My argument still stands, 89.7%

-smacks head-

look they give you the actual reference for info purposes but THE SITE ITSELF rounds up because a .3% isn't that much of a difference and wouldnt matter, if it dropped to an 85% or an 87% then it would be a different story(and even then if the score was an 86.7% it would be 87% because "." something increments are stupid and are only there to give the actual mathematical % but to avoid stupid arguments like this over a .3% they round up and post the rounded score(the offical score for that game) in a BOLD NUMBER ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

its not a hard concept

When I pay my cable bill I round up the figure, but that just means the extra few cents are credited to my account. Whilst I use a rounded up figure, the actual figure still remains relevant and absolute. The same thing should apply to rankings.

it's not a hard concept....to grasp.

I'm thinking your 14...17 tops. You somehow think that if you play violent video games and watch horror movies, your mature. You classify anything with a decent toon artstyle kiddy, and you've never played aWii game in your life.

Either thator your one of the most ignorant gamers I know, discounting theconsole that's winning thisgen in sales by a long shot over shadowed only byNintys other great gaming machine, the DS. Which Iassume you think is useless and 'kiddy' as well.

I got newsfor you buster, the violent content in the games you play isnot directly proportional to your phallic dimensions.
