[QUOTE="deadmeat59"]i have a 360 and without live its horriable theres nothing to do on it . if you dont have a hard drive its pretty bad to . even if i had live i could not download anything . plusi h ave to buy wifi its so expensivedeadmeat59

Without Live you play offline. Do you spend all your time gaming online and who told you to get the version without a hard drive?

This is such a pointless thread.

lol the hole point of xbox is live thats why everyone buys it.

Oh so you know the reasons behind every purchase of a 360 ever? Well that changes everything, this thread is just peachy.

My favourite combat systems are the ones based on AD&D/D&D rules, if I can't buff stack in ME, I will not be a happy chappy.

Every new system and architecture is initially hard to program for. Programing for dual and quad core processors is harder than a single core, but do you think that developers are going to just make programs for single core processors? Not a chance, as the industry is moving forward, and the technology gets harder.

If a developer is just looking to make easy software and sell to the largest base, they will make a Nintendo DS game.

Every new system/language has a learning curve. You learn it, refine it, and master it. Nothing really new.

We don't hear people complaining about the Wii or the 360 (the exact opposite in the 360's case in fact)

The 360 is very close to programming for a Windows PC, which is something any developer should be familiar with, making development on it rather simple to do, as the learning curve is almost non-existent.

Microsoft knew this going in, and as a company is good at helping developers craft code, so they made the 360 very developer friendly, whereas Sony has always struggled to make its platforms easier to develop for, often times failing.

This is true, MSDN bios my shock.

[QUOTE="nikolajz1"]That is a very likely reason. Mario Galaxy from what I'v heard could be a 10 here at GS. Cant wait to play!Always-Honest

wouldn't that be something?.. i can allready here the crying of lemmings and cows

Though the sheep wouldn't be around to enjoy it, they'll be to busy playing SMG lol.

Personally I don't see it getting a 10, it's just to unrealistic considering the calibure of some of the other games coming out, while I think that SMG will trump them all, it's not going to be as earth shattering as OoT or any other 10 rated game.

[QUOTE="TheJuiceyBar"]Okay, have fun playing a game we played a year ago.JocktheMotie

You think I care?

PC GOW gets CUSTOM MAP and GAME EDITOR

5 NEW CHAPTERS

19 Multiplayer MAPS

BETTER GRAPHICS AND DX10 support so shut up and go back to your console noob

This is why nobody likes Hermits. They think they're better than everybody else because they overclock.

No nobody likes hermits because they have superior gaming systems.

This is true, but if you've ever done any development on a Microsoft platform before (Including CE) you'll notice that it's easy as pie to move from one platform to another. Plus all you really have to worry about when developing for a multi-core processor under a Microsoft framework is threading, the low level device control is all handled by the framework itself (In my experience, bare in mind I've only used multi-threading for netcode (Sockets)).

[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"]Yes, because we all know that MySpace accounts are in no way able to be hacked or faked.SpruceCaboose

The representitive from Epic (I'm not sure if it was Cliff) hyped it on this weeks On The Spot.

Either way, Cliffy B is not me, and therefore he shouldn't be trying to pass his opinions on something off on me. He wants to get on my good side, he and Epic should have fixed the abomination that is Gears multiplayer right now.

I'm not debating that, I'm just confirming that it was indeed an Epic employee that spoke positivley about Z&W.
Personally I don't think this is going to make much difference, this game wasn't on my must buy list anyway.
