how are the "x-bots" screwed? the 360 has a bunch of cool ones coming out, too. for my money, the only one that really interests me is MGS4 and God of War 3. before you sendthe sonymob after me, please know i am NOT a M$ fanboy. but i still have yet to see a game on the PS3 that justifies a purchase of the console (i have a 360 and a wii right now). seriously, Resistance was kind of cool, but do we really want tobrag about MonsterHunter and Sly 4 being exclusives? i think, eventually, the PS3 will have a lot of really good stuff to play, but MAN have they been slow about it. what i'd really like to see is a sequel to Shadow of the Colossus. next-gen technology would make a game like that absolutely sweet!

The Killzone franchise will NEVER beat Halo. Remember when people firstseen and heardof Killzone 1 for the PS2 people then said it was "the Halo killer," and come to find out it was FARRR from being a Halo killer. Killzone 1 was not that good of a game, so what makes people think that this one will be any better?...And looking at recent flops like>>Heavenly Sword & Lair...I'm not getting too thrilled over anymore hyped-up PS3 titles. How can a game be a flop when it hasn't even come out yet?What makes a game a flop or not is if people buy it. Reviewers have a tendency to be retarded. Especially when some reviewers call a game terrible and others call it perfect. Now if EVERY reviewer gives a game low or high marks, there may be something to it. I'll still at the very least rent it to make up my own mind.

As for the topic here, Halo never appealed to me. Killzone 2 looks very impressive. I think Killzone will be the better game. I doubt it will outsell Halo though. You could take 'Hello Kitty Island Adventure' and replace the Hello Kitty graphics on the cover with Master Chief or whatever his name is and xboxxers would buy it.

I thought I heard that Cross Platform play for ps3 and pc was confirmed the Epic guy has been talking a lot about the ps3 and pc versions of this game.Cogwork

PC and PS3 version will have cross-platform online. 360 version will not, as MS wanted Epic to make the PC version part of their whole xbox-live/vista-live thing, and Epic said no to having to pay to play the PC version online. A lot of developers these days are expressing distaste for the way MS tries to tell you how your game has to be. Control freaks FTL.
